Wall refused to accept the initial diagnosis of a “real, real bad sprain” after X-rays immediately following the game were negative. According to a person with knowledge of the situation, Wall clashed with team medical staffers before sitting out Tuesday because he felt something more serious had caused his hand to explode. After a few days of confusion and concern, Wall got the confirmation of bone fractures that he never really wanted, leaving fans of the team with broken hearts.

How does this even happen in this day and age? Reminds me of the time Houston misdiagnosed Tmac's knee. Sometimes you just got to say F you to your franchise and know that only you and your Docs understand what your body is going through.

 and a bit misleading. If anything they would fire the team doctors. There is a reason people get second and third opinions.

I suppose so. Thats exactly what Tmac did too, only it still wasn't Houstons Docs that discovered the problem. Houston didn't fire their medical staff but the head Doc stepped down. Wonder if that was a polite escape.

Good on Witmann sticking up for his star. That's the things players remember about coaches.

Unless its true, in which case hes just defending the medical staff. If it isn't true, then Wall will be thankful that he can now ignore the accusation.

I agree and even if it's true at least he didn't put it all out with the playoffs on the line. No need to add extra pressure, and it makes Wall look way more mature then if he fussed at them.(Which I would be angry as well if my medical results were ran amuck.)
