Oh man, theoretically this should be a sweep for Rox but Rondo should be addition by subtraction right? Really hurts not having Parsons though. Idk, weirder things have happened, I think Mavs could take 1 game but they're looking depleted. FFS they got RJ starting for them.

If Smoove reverts to his chucking self, Mavs got a chance here but if it's Smoove from game 2, forget about it. You might as well pack your bags and go home when Smoove is getting a 4.5 ast/to ratio and shooting almost 50% from the field.

Without question. Look for Ellis to go off for 50 now that Rondo is out. Go Mavericks! I found out my manager is a Mavs fan so now I have to root for them by law.

Dallas needs to go to zone D....

I knew the mavs had more fight in them. A Carlisle coached team wouldn't just fold. Especially with Rondo gone.

Can they keep it up is the question.

Dallas's perimeter D is so bad. Tyson won't rotate for fear of the lob, but that starts with the breakdown on the outside

nastynice
04-24-2015, 08:19 PM
not if they keep letting bigs walk around free in the paint

i dont blame him. his team is asking two guard two bigs in the paint at once, lol ridiculous. He may be the one who's in frame for those dunks, but he ain't the one who's ****ing up.

Crazy after lob city last game they still haven't figured it out yet.

To be honest tho, I just caught the last min or so of this half, so I don't know how they been playing, I"m just basing it off of that

Mavs need to keep this play up.

Need to finish the second half strong!

Magic things happen to teams when they get rid of Rondo.

Oh, I agree. That's what I was getting at. The perimeter guys not named Aminu just can't stay in front of a lawn chair

The first unit for the Mavs needs not to be on the floor long together

Tony_Starks
04-24-2015, 08:46 PM
I'd take Tyson out and just go small at this point. They're getting no paint protection anyway, might as well have a shootout.

Nowitzki's D has been brutal, absolutely horrific. I don't know if he's helping his team in offense more than he's hurting them on D.

The fact the Rockets survived Dirk and Monta both going off for 30 to take the 3-0 lead should be a good indication that Dallas's will to play should just about be all dried up

True, I didn't think of that. That really does make a difference.

No doubt. Its always been a joy watching Dirk. Great game tonight. everyone should appreciate that guy a little more then they do. He's given us a lot of great ball and i hope they at least get a win this series.

thats true but i honestly don't think dallas is good enough with JR starting and Rondo going AWALL. Its crazy that people don't realize how important playing together is though. I give the Bulls no chance of it, OK Rose it back but how much time as he spent with a Gasol? It makes a huge a difference.

That was a fun game. Hopefully, the Rockets can finish on Subday and it takes the Spurs 6 or 7 games.

I just watched Sportscenter and not only Carlisle was crying about the physicality of the games but also the white dopey guy on SC was saying that he was right. (Black dude on SC: "Well, they put some points on the board for a physical game." Lol. ) Say what? It's playoff basketball! I always hear that the games are more physical and you have to toughen up. Jesus H. And how does the game end with a combined 258 points and one coach complains about physicality? You want the Rockets to play more physical, Carlisle? Play Rondo.

When Harden didn't up his game last year and adjust his game to a more physical style of play (with less fouls being called), he kept getting shat on. So what's different this year? Oh, it's that Harden is adjusting while Carlisle's coaching isn't. Gotcha.

I'm bummed that I couldn't watch the game last night, but I've watched every minute of the first two, and I don't think Carlisle has a leg to stand on here. Dallas has played soft basketball for most of this series and Houston has constantly been in attack mode. Frankly, I think there have been way too many fouls called already and too many free throws for a playoff series. Not too few. And the few "flagrant" fouls that were called in the first two games were insanely weak calls.

Fun game, could have gone either way. Harden found his shot and Dwight continues to own the paint. Should be an exciting game Sunday.

Why is Carlisle crying? Man up coach its the playoffs.

I'm stuck in that typical "one game at a time mindset" weird since I'm not even playing in these games
