Shame. The playoffs are always more fun with him.

I guess LeBron never asked him to come to Cleveland

So,is he retiring or what? I can't understand taking this year of rest what means for Allen's career. He's already 39...or he comebacks for one shot at the championship when he will be 40 or he retires. What do you think?

His agent had said pretty much all year if he comes back it won't be Cleveland. Guess he's done throwing on the cape......

Just retire then. He acts like he can come back anytime he wants and teams will be lining up for his services. Sorry but no teams are going to want a 40 year old next year that just sat out a whole season.

Yeah. He's acting like such a Diva. If he hasn't come back already, I don't see him playing in the NBA again.

Only took him 100 years to make up his mind.

Hmm...should I fire a few 3's for a paycheck or not...

He would have been great for Memphis.
