@WojYahooNBA: Charlotte has acquired guards Mo Williams and Troy Daniels for Gary Neal and a second-round pick, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Solid move for the Hornets

Very solid move for the Hornets. Mo did a good job when Rubio was sidelined.

I really though Troy Daniels was an up and comer with Houston, now he's just getting passed around the league like a cheap hooker

its a whatever trade for the Wolves.

Neal was always a very good 3 point shooter, but has stunk this year. I guess the one thing it does is take "I gots to get my shots" Mo away, so our young players can get some more shots up.

Well we now have 3 2nd rounders assuming its for this year. I expect two of them to be sold so this is basically Glenn getting some cash.

Edit: looks like its a future pick so we will have to wait to sell it.

So the Wolves couldn't get a 1st for Mo? Horrible trade for them

who the hell would give a 1st for a 30 something year old backup PG?

Mo was gone after this season and we weren't getting a first. Instead of just playing him where he takes shots from young players and maybe help us win a useless game or two we sent him away. This could open up some time for lavine and we lose nothing we wouldn't have come seasons end.

Not a good trade but I don't really see it as horrible either. As hawkeye said more of a meh trade.

@WojYahooNBA: Minnesota will likely send a 2017 first-round pick to Atlanta in the Adreian Payne deal, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

For somebody who was supposed to be a horrible player Mo sure has stayed on a lot of teams radar.....

I haven't paid attention since the trade but how had Daniels fit in in Minnesota?

Doc would. If he had any left to give

He almost never played and when he did he normally just put up a couple of shots some in the flow and some just poor shots. Doesn't add much outside of shooting and he didn't do that very well.

I'm surprised the Wolves didn't have to give up a first to get rid of him because he's such a cancer.

I think Mo is actually an upgrade from Walker to be perfectly honest. Marginally this season, but if you gave me a choice between the two players at the age of 22, I'd take Mo hands down.

That's basically how he was this year in Housron. Glad Morey sold high.

Am I right in thinking you're not much of a Rubio fan? How do you feel about him since he got back? You guys seemed to be doing okay with him.

What does it have to do with Rubio. Hawk is talking about AB.

puppy power!

I have put my faith in my teams front office too many times. I like where we are at right now (Rubio, Wiggins, Dieng, Lavine, Shabazz, upcoming top 4 pick, Bennett, Payne, Robinson III), but that group needs to mature, and Wiggins needs to become a star for them to be a playoff team in a couple of years.

Just cautious with the Wolves. And yes, our PF situation is a joke.

The Morris twins would be an awesome addition to this bunch IMO. It would be nice if they could get rid of Pek for some more draft picks to a playoff team in need of a guy like him to maybe put them over the top.

unfortunately Pek needs reconstructive vagina surgery at this point. He will be impossible to trade for a year or two.
