Sloan is the only other guy to do this with one franchise.

Yep. Pop is the first to have his first 1000 wins with 1 franchise, but Sloan of course well surpassed it. 3rd quickest to 1000 behind Phil/Riley.

Congrats Pop. Easily a top 5 coach in NBA history. This team can do anything with Pop in charge.

KoB, who do you think is the greatest ever then? I'd have to give it to Popovich

He isn't under .500 against any one opponent?

That is nuts

Yah, when I saw that I had to do a double-take.

When you're looking at 18 years as a Head Coach to have winning seasons against every franchise in the NBA, AND he has more wins than 5 franchises in the NBA that's just crazy.

In fact, his worst winning percentage is against the Lakers, and that's still a .544 winning percentage

Phil Jackson. We can go back and forth with this if you want. I know everyone is almost dying to just blurt out "JORDANPIPPENKOBESHAQ!!!!" as the ultimate proof that he is overrated but the fact that he maximized the talent that he had and doubled Popovich in titles gives him the edge.

And what if he is part of the reason those four became as great as they were?

This is why he is #1. :)
