Rank the top five 3 & D players. I want to try to restrict the list for players who average less than 15 points per game, so Klay Thompson, Kawhi Leonard, etc... don't qualify for the list.

Few that come to mind (not 5 but would have to probably look up a few more)

Danny Green
Trevor Ariza
Draymond Green

I definitely agree with Danny Green and Draymond Green. Ariza has been pretty bad from 3 this year though.

Wes Matthews is the guy I think of, too lazy to see if he scores more than 15 ppg.

Ariza, Afflao, Draymond (if he counts as a SF), Carroll, Allen?

Top 5 would probably be

1. Matthews
2. Draymond
3. Ariza
4. Afflalo
5. Carroll

1.) Draymond Green
2.) Aron Afflalo (he has 14.9 ppg, I guess he technically counts...)
3.) Danny Green
4.) DeMarre Carroll
5.) Trevor Ariza
6.) PJ Tucker
7.) Mike Dunleavy (okay on D, but great 3 point shot)
8.) Jared Dudley

I'm probably missing some players.

Knew I forgot an obvious one. Green would be 4/5 on my list.

Ah, hadn't looked up his #'s, just knew he was usually pretty good from there

Khris Middleton has flown under the radar this year. He probably deserves consideration

Redick improved his D. Deserves a mention.

A few new names....Kyle Korver is surprisingly average on defense, though he probably still lives off of his Philly rep on that end when he was plain bad. Nicolas Batum career wise... but I don't know what's going on this year. Avery Bradley also a solid two way 2 guard.

1.) Draymond Green is easily #1 here for me
2.) Danny Green is the only one elite at both
3.) Kyle Korver like beasted said but he's actually been average defensively for a couple of years.
4.) Demarre Carroll
5.) Mike Dunleavy better defender then Korver and a great 3pt shooter.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is getting there.

It depends on whether you want to focus on marksmanship or defense but overall, its still Iggy to me, tho hes more than just a 3-D guy. Aside from him, you could argue Draymond but hes more of a big based on his counterpart defensively. In terms of being more than decent on both sides then it has to be Klay or Green. Im hesitant to say Klay cuz hes so much more, but at his core, hes really a 3 and D All-Star. Which is saying alot.

Draymond Green has played so much power forward this year that I don't really consider him a swingman. He's definitely not in the same sense of guys like Batum, Matthews, Leonard, Afflalo, etc.

Surprised ariza is getting so much love as a threat from 3 and superior defender, has he become overrated?

I agree. Khris Middleton has been balling this season. Great versatility being able to play SG/SF/PF (a few minutes). Good defense and over 40% from 3...

Khris Middleton and Jared Dudley have both actually been very good defenders for the Bucks this year while both are shooting 42 and 44% respectively from 3. While they may not be the best in the league, both are playing that role really well this year.

Not a mention of Bradley?!!
