Dero milking the clock trying to create for himself, fails most of the time than passes the ball out with couple of seconds left.

LOL great dishes? He doesn't have the skill or speed to beat his man than throws the ball out with 2 sec on the shot clock there is nothing great about that.

Did you not watched the first quarter he had 5 assist and has been the only guy moving the ball. Meanwhile Lowry was jacking up everything.

If there's one thing about these guys, they're resilient.

Some very good movement tonight. Coaches doing some great work getting the team out of chucker mode.

Real talk. But Casey needs a Middle Eastern flogging for benching a Jonas who didn't miss a shot, prior to being benched. This win was based on NOTHING but good luck. Casey deserves absolutely NO credit. Super props to Jonas for being a professional on the bench, meanwhile. And Big Nuts props to Amir and P2 for holding it down as best they could, along with JV when he was on the court. KLow pissed me off with his hero ball, weak shot selection (fade away shots early in the clock). One of the most hair gripping games this season. PlayOff-esque.

Sanyo
01-31-2015, 12:09 AM
The benching of JV is getting annoying... especially with Plumlee and Lopez, two huge guys, JV should have been in there... this is the time where you see what JV has in crunch time..

GrumpyOldMan
01-31-2015, 12:41 AM
I understand why JV gets benched late with leads and other teams go heavily with perimeter players, but The Nets kept their 2 7footers in the game and Jonas didn't get a sniff. He was not only having a great offensive game, but he is the best rebounder on the team. I often times understand the benching, but in this case I don't get it. Amir and P-Pat came through, but not without getting into foul trouble. Glad to see Demar hit some big shots too.

That was an awesome game. Amir has pretty incredible hands and uncanny balance and awareness in space when he gets a loose ball it's incredible to watch.

man u guys are good at winning close games... seems everytime i watch a raptor game they are in OT and they find a way to pull it out... against ORL, PHI, NY, PHO and now BK... off the top of my head.

you guys must be like 10-0 in OT this year...lol

goes to show you there is a fine line between winning and losing, when the knicks won 54 games they were winning all those close games as well, the next year they were losing them all and won 37 games.

LanceUpperCut
01-31-2015, 01:06 PM
Amir has really turned it around lately, hopefully the all-star break will give him a little breather then he can turn into beast mode Amir for the final stretch.

I had no problem with Amir and PPat on the floor instead of JV. The way the team was working the ball inside last night was a huge improvement and those two had a lot to do with the win.

It's funny in here. People get mad because Casey "plays the other team's game". Then when he sticks with a speed game because it's working, people complain because he doesn't respond to the other team's tactics. The bigs we had in there gave us a tremendous speed and athleticism advantage and played a brilliant game at both ends.

They were both playing extremely well. I would've had a really hard time taking one of them out to put JV in, no matter how good he was earlier in the game. Pat was a beast on the offensive glass, he was up in the air a few feet over everybody else on every single shot -- whether he was close to the ball or not. I love his energy...
