The Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo and Orlando Magic's Victor Oladipo have committed to participating in the All-Star Weekend Slam Dunk contest, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Brooklyn Nets center Mason Plumlee will be a part of the competition too, sources told Yahoo Sports.

The dunk contest is set as the final event of All-Star Saturday night on Feb. 14 at the Barclays Center in New York. Another strong possibility to join the field is Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Zach LaVine, league sources told Yahoo.

The All-Star game is Feb. 15 at Madison Square Garden.

Antetokounmpo and Oladipo have emerged as the two most dynamic players from the 2013 draft class and separated themselves with their ability to play above the rim.

Antetokounmpo, known as the "Greek Freak," is 6-foot-11 with long arms and massive hands, and has built a cult following for the Elastic Man quality to his dunks. Oladipo has been fast developing as a star for the Magic, and LaVine, 19, has a 44-inch vertical leap.

Plumlee high-jumped 6-8 in high school and was the runner-up in the McDonald's High School All-American game dunk contest.

Sixers rookie KJ McDaniels said today he was invited to participate as well, but hasn't committed because he says he's not a big "trick dunker."

McDaniels has some crazy bounce but I'd love to see LaVine in the competition. He was born to be in the dunk contest

Would also love to see Wiggins give it a go

I hope wiggins or lavine is in it too, both are great athletes/jumpers.

I haven't seen much of mcdaniels (like two games) but remember a great throw down in Ine of them. No idea if he does it on a regular basis though.

Oladipo and Giannis, two of the four best players from the 2013 draft (the other two probably being MCW and Gobert).

I think its great to get quality, future star type young players in the game. not just youth for youths sake. but predictions on who's gonna be big in this league. i love it.

About as good as you could hope for when there's no stars getting involved.

Lebron should do the dunk contest this year. LOL.

Plumlee? What lol

He can throw down man.

As for KJ possibly rejecting the bid because he's not a "trick dunker", I think he's right on the money. He only throws down power dunks and I haven't seen him do anything too fancy just a lot of posters.

I would like to see Wiggins get a bid instead.

Oh my...

I hope LaVine is in it, so we will actually be entertained.

Also, I hope they don't do it how they did it last year, with the whole team vs team. That was dumb as hell and I probably won't watch if they do it that way.

They need to go back to the roots.

Yeah last year's format sucked. Oladipo should be alright. Giannis might surprise.

I think LaVine needs to be in this.

Lavine should crush it and Oladipo + the Freak could be fun too. That's a decent slate, we might actually get a little entertainment value out of this one. I've seen some creative dunks from Plumlee too; one where he slots a corner 3 and races in to one-arm dunk the bounce up. And another where he dunks 3 balls at once.

Oh no. Oladipo is in? Dear lord. He's an okay in-game dunker but honestly, he's nothing special. I think he's going to sort of embarrass himself on the big stage.

I'm not looking forward to this :(

I thought Wiggins dad said that he was in it. My prediction if Wiggins is in it is that Lavine will do the best dunks but Wiggins will win because he's the NBA's new poster boy.

The last time I enjoyed watching a dunk contest even slightly was Gerald green taking off his shoes and blowing out a cupcake.. And that's just sad, it's become such a joke.. Lebron should have done at least 1 dunk contest he's the mayweather vs manny paq fight that never happened for me.. All star weekend is a joke, it's the equivalent of watching a Harlem globe trotters game.

Last awesome dunk contest was Vince Carter owning the show back then. Dunking from free throw line and some other huge dunk and the last one where he grab the ball and stuff his whole arm down the rim and hung on it. After all that they should of shut the lights out, no more dunk contest.

Nah, J-Rich was after VC. His contests were the last truly great ones.

^^^ Agreed J-Rich had some awesome dunks. But Carter was definitely the best ever in the NBA.

Sounds like they found some decent guys for this year's contest but I wish they would open the contest to guys who aren't in the NBA too. Just to give us fans something different. To see someone who we haven't seen during the year come out and shock us with some talent.

I know plumlee can jam for a big guy but those guys are rarely entertaining in the dunk contest. Besides the Greek freak is 6'11 so there is already a "big guy" in the field.

I always thought J-rich was a little overrated. Great dunker no doubt but the dude couldn't palm the ball. Had to bounce everything to himself got old for me after a while.

He's stated multiple times he won't do it unless he's on the allstar team. Even in Houston where he's from he turned it down.

His reverse-thru the legs lefty reverse jam was one of the best of all time.
