Woj- Boston is sending Jameer Nelson to Denver for Nate Robinson, source tells Yahoo.

Nate Robinson played 81 games for the Celtics in 2010 and 2011, having some big playoff moments along side Glen Davis — Shrek and Donkey — and becoming a fan favorite. Which happens everywhere he lands.

It’s just not the same with the coaches, so Robinson lands a lot of places.

Robinson appears to be on the move again, soon heading back to Boston from Denver, reports Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports, with Adrian Wojnarowski adding details..

There has to be a pick going to Boston as well — and Celtics GM Danny Ainge is collecting those — because Jameer Nelson is a better player than Robinson.

What are the contracts? Is this a dump?Nate expiring 2.1M, Nelson in the first of a 2 yr/5.5M deal, player option for next year is 2.85M.

That's why I may be wrong here, but I disagree with the last part of the OP stating there has to be a pick going to Boston.

There gonna buy Nate Out making the trade just a way to free up cap, I can see Nate signing back with #Knicks or going to Lakers who could really use him

Don't get this for Denver. Why would they want Nelson?

A pick should go to Denver for taking on Nelson's contract.

Denver is not a playoff team. They should be developing young players, not taking guys that are over the hill.

Rumors have Nate Robinson going to the LAC WITH Austin Rivers - Doc apparently has interest in both.

Why would he sign with losing teams? He is a great spark off the bench. Playoff teams could use him. I could see him signing with the Clippers and reunite with his buddy J-Crossover.

We needed a back up PG. Nate rob was awful at that position forcing Lawson to play over 40 minutes a night.

Seems like a tradable guy cause I don't think we are a playoff team. But we are on a win streak.

As a Bulls fan who watched him for a year I can tell you Nate's not a headache.
