Not sure how many of yall saw him tear up the Clippers (then comment about how we didn't even give him a training camp invite, **** you doc), but the guy is putting up huge numbers in limited minutes over the last few weeks.

He has to drop off inevitably, right? So long as that drop off is a result of scouting, it should open up the game for his teammates. Maybe a Chalmers and co finally start hitting their shots.

It's impressive definitely considering that he has been in and out of the league.

He's looked great so far, but I'd like to see a bigger sample size. Love his attitude, though. Plays with a huge chip on his shoulder.

His per 36 min is 16 , 14 with 4 blocks. The downside for now 5 fouls per 35

He's providing hope that's for sure but Imo a lot of his success is a big part to do with D wade.

He's a bigger birdman to him whom he can throw lobs to. And more importantly D wade loves and knwos how to play with true big centers. He's a very underrated facilitator drawing double teams and pentrating to draw opposite bigs into him and having the iq to look for and make accurate passes to bigs.

If not Hassans scoring numbers would be down a lot. But his rebounds and blocks is all his effort looking forward to seeing if he can sustain this.

TBH I haven't seen him live yet. Just clips but it seems like he would be a great fit as a rim protector next to Bosh.

only time will tell but he seems to possess all of the tools you'd look for. he's got great size and length, athleticism and really good hands. he seems to catch every inside pass, and has a soft touch around the rim even with either hand. defensively he's biting on too many pump fakes still and needs to dial it back a bit to avoid foul trouble, but he has great timing on his blocks. he looks like a legit rim protector and rebounder. his hook shots are falling right now on offense along with all the lob/putback dunks he scores off of.

he's been very impressive and deserves all he buzz, now if only spo would start him and turn him loose. he's go a chip on his shoulder and gives it his all on the court. i'm excited to see what he does tonight.

He could be saving our season. Giving us a presence down low could help us defensively and the guards won't have to worry about having to guard players who are much bigger than them when he is on the floor. Hopefully this will allow them to focus all of their attention to protecting the wing and giving us the defense we need to be competitive.

Matter.

I remember hearing about a lack of work ethic when he was drafted never wanting to stay late after practice with the staff, I think going out of the league and the Doc thing probably was a big wake up call that if he doesn't work at it he wwon'tbe in the league

He's gotten better every game. If he doesn't give us at least 30 and 30 tonight we should send him to the D-League.

Covington is a small forward playing for the Sixers. He is averaging 12.6 ppg,4.4 rpg,1.3 spg,1 apg. He's shooting with a good .415 fg% and .428% from three point land, playing 27 minutes per game.

I want to see what he can do once he gets starter minutes which I'm sure will come later on in the season if not tonight against the Lakers. He is foul prone so needs to work on that. I don't like the way his hook looks but it drops so I'm not complaining lol. I'm hopeful for him though. He could really be a steal for us if he is able to do what he did against the Clips on a somewhat consistent basis. That being his rebounds and rim protection the points he gets he hasn't really had to work for much. He did back down and punk DJ in the paint though which leaves me optimistic for his offensive skillset.

Hassan Whiteside doesnt block your shot, he makes you question every decision you have made in your life leading up to that moment.

15 on 7-9, 9 boards and 5 blocks in 19 minutes of work lol

He's still foul prone, but what I like about him the most is that he catches everything thrown at him. Really good hands for a guy 7 feet

That's his biggest issue so far. I hope he can calm down enough to steady that. He is looking like a beast though. I want him to start already. Because of the his fouling issues I can see why doesn't yet.

yes which is why fg% is such a useless stat. he has a .517 efg% which is above average.

He is not even thread worthy. The only reason this is even a thread because he plays for the Heat. If Rudy Gobert played for the Heat he would be in the All-Star discussion this year.

Then simply don't click and post in the thread.
