Are the Cavs now good enough to go on a serious run when they get healthy and have the best record in the East at the end of the year or is the east Atlanta's to lose?

Are the Bulls going to be more than just good on both offense and defense and close out the East?

Is Wall and and Beal going to make an ok offense into something more?

Will Toronto get their defense together when Demar comes back to go on a run?

Bulls. But if DD comes back I say Toronto gives them a run. Cleveland and Atlanta would be the next 2 for me. Washington has a shot but I don't think they'll get there.
So....
Bulls
Raptors
Hawks/Cavs

Sticking with Chicago

DD returning should give the Raps the push they need to compete for the top spot. Lowry has done a great job keeping the Raps amongst the best in the east and overall but he is showing signs of fatigue as he's had to shoulder so much of the offense.

With that said, the Bulls are the most talented team in the conference and I expect them to win the east.

Atlanta finishes with most regular season wins.
Bulls come out of the East in the playoffs.

That is my prediction.

Hawks. Bud is the 3rd best coach in the nba. pop carlisle bud.

Bud knows how to work the regular season. He even had the hawks playing great in their first year until his best player went down and his backup too. Had to use a 3rd big backup to make a great run in the playoffs.

Hawks. I don't normally put my stock on a team that plays well in the regular season but watching them play is the best I've seen a team play in a while without a true superstar. They are the spurs east

See how everyone can dismiss Cleveland. Amazing. LeBron will be healthy soon and the cabs are bound to go on a big winning streak. Dangerous team in the East alongside the Chicago Bulls

Cavs are 10 games out of first place right now and the 6th seed. They are 6 games out from the 4th seed. They very well may not even get HCA in round 1.

Lets be real, Cavs are not winning the East hahaha, that is just too funny to even ponder.
I can see Chicago coming around and emerging as the clear cut team to beat out in the East
by the end of the post season.

The Cavs obviously have the talent to win the Eastern Conference, but it all depends upon if they can put the pieces together. I would not say its the Hawks' to lose, they are 'only' 3.5 games ahead of the Bulls and Raptors and 4 games ahead of the Wizards and we are only halfway through the season. The Bulls have always been an elite defensive team and I think how well their offense goes in the second half of the season will decide their seeding, they are probably the safest bet to win the East though.

Cavs are going to have a tough route come playoffs as the 4th/5th seed playing against 3 of Toronto, Washington, Chicago, Atlanta. Probably will be Lebrons toughest road to the finals of his career.

Imagine if he had to play Dallas, Portland, OKC, and then SA. That's a typical west run every year.

Hawks. Bulls just don't seem to have great chemistry and I think thibs is going to run one of Gasol/butler to the ground, moreso Gasol.

I'm guessing Atlanta wins the most regular season games, with TOR close behind

But I think Chicago or Cleveland make the Finals

Goose17

I think who makes the finals is sort of irrelevant. They're not going to win.

It's pretty much a done deal that between ATL/TOR/CHI/CLE/WAS (in some order) you have the logical candidates to fill out the top 4 (with one missing out).

Still, it wouldn't surprise me to see one of the top 4 losing a first round series. To the Pistons, for example.

It will depend on match ups
Toronto will beat Washington, but Washington will beat Chicago, Chicago will beat cleland, but clevland will beat Toronto. Not sure where Atlanta fits in that cycle lol

In 1st place with the best coach in the East.
