This offseason, there were several players and teams talked about quite a bit. Since we are approaching the halfway mark, I'd like to go through some of the ones off the top of my head, as well as have you guys list/talk about the other players/teams you might have in mind.

1.) Gordon Hayward - Do you think he's living up to his new contract?
2.) Chandler Parsons - Same question as with Hayward. How does his future look?
3.) Jodie Meeks - Is he still considered a bad signing?
4.) Brandon Knight - Underrated? Under the radar?
5.) Draymond Green - Did you envision this kind of production? What do you make of his future contract/team?
6.) Trevor Ariza - He started off blistering hot... wtf happened to him?! Contract guy?
7.) Kyle Lowry - People called him a contract guy too... thoughts?
8.) Tyson Chandler - Knicks fans (and other franchise fans) thought he was done. Does he maintain this sort of production? How long?
9.) Rajon Rondo/Josh Smith/Corey Brewer - Fitting in with new team? Who needs to be benched?
10.) Houston/Dallas concerns (if any) with roster? Who ends up with the higher seed?
11.) Cavaliers chances at the finals? Many said it was a lock. Do Miami fans still think he chose the "easy" road or do you think it's not quite as easy as anticipated?

Feel free to add other players/teams that were talked about or viewed negatively/positively that made you think twice. I'll say I was wrong on many of these players... It's okay to be wrong sometimes. :)

1.) Haven't watched much of the Jazz, but I never thought he was a max player.
2.) I like Parsons, deadly from the three-point line and he is 'only' 26.
3.) I don't think he is a bag signing, he is a three-point specialist and he does it well.
4.) Definitely under appreciated, a good young talent.
5.) I have always liked Draymond, solid, athletic, plays both ends and can even knock down the odd three. Has
done an excellent job covering the injured bigs at the Warriors. By future team do you mean will he be
traded?
6.) I thought he was a good pick up for the Rockets' system, luckily for them they have enough three-point
shooters to cover for him when he is having an off night, still a dependable one though.
7.) Lowry has always been underrated, but I think this year he has started to get some recognition with the
way the Raptors are playing. Should be an All-Star and could potentially take the Raptors to the Finals.
8.) I didn't think he was done and I think he may last a bit longer than expected because physically he doesn't
look like he is 32. Maybe the Mavericks can make a run in the next couple of years and then Dirk and him
will be done.
9.) I think Rondo and Brewer and fit in great with the Mavericks and Rockets respectively. Rondo fits in very
well with the shooters the Mavericks have. Brewer brings offensive energy off the bench and make up for
the starters if they are struggling. I don't think Josh Smith is a good fit in Houston.
10.) I like the Rockets' team and the Mavericks have a solid starting lineup, but I am not sure about their
bench. That is why I think Houston will get the higher seed (4th, whereas I think Dallas will fall to one of
the lower seedings).
11.) I have said in other forums that I still think the Cavs have a chance at coming out of the East. I also
thought it was close to a lock given Rose's health, the Raptors and Wizards and exceeded expectations
and the Hawks are currently leading the Eastern Conference! By easy road do you mean LeBron going back
to Cleveland?

Just off the top of my head, even though the Grizzlies made the West finals last season, I did not expect them
to start off this well (although they have cooled off of late). I always thought they were more a playoff than regular season team with their tough defense and slow pace. Also, I did not expect Anthony Davis to take such a big step this year, he has gone from a somewhat disappointing rookie to a MVP-level player in two years.

1) Hayward's a little pricey but he's a talent and producing at a fairly high level. Not many FA's go to Utah and it was a fair payment in order to lock him up. Certainly not a disappointment and seemingly not a guy where you have to worry about behavior concerns.

2) At 26, what you see is probably what you get with Parsons. Similar story to Hayward, but overall a nice glue guy to have and - while maybe expensive - somebody you want on your team.

3) Was he considered a bad signing? He's cheap. One dimensional player though. Better suited as a 6th man.

4) B Knight has stepped up the shooting efficiency this year. If he can keep that up he'll be an 8 figure guy. Not a top 15 PG, but playing well and definitely serviceable.

5) A defensive monster. Watching him day in/out, I consider him the DPOY. The offense he provides in his ability to hit the open 3 is massive to have on the court with the Splash bros.

6) Ariza has struggled with his shot for periods in the past, but this is as bad as I've ever seen from him. Still, he brings it defensively and should be able to find his shot again eventually. I still like him on that roster.

7) Lowry is proving naysayers wrong. He's a legit top 8 PG and has shown the ability to lead an HCA squad. Stud.

8) In an elite offense where his role on that end is simply to attack via the PnR and get boards, he thrives. He can play elite level D and sustain a +impact offensively as long as he's with Dirk and co in Dallas for the next couple years.

9) J Smoove sucks and is a cancer (is already rightfully benched), I don't love Rondo in that offense due to spacing issues, but as long as he is playing great D again and able to maintain his playming ability, it's a +signing (hate that they lost B Wright though... that's a void they need to fill), and Brewer is meh. No opinion either way.

10) Houston needs to get healthy and have T. Jones eat up all of Smoove's minutes. Dallas needs a backup big. Both are very tough as is.

11) Cleveland needs D, we'll see how the Mosgov signing aids them. As they were, I did not see them in the Finals or a threat to win it if they somehow get in.

Too many questions. Some of them would be good as individual threads though.

Wade didn't decline like I thought he would. His numbers are pretty good
