LeBron James was evaluated yesterday at Cleveland Clinic Sports Health by Richard D. Parker, MD, Cavaliers Head Team Physician. Tests included physical exam, radiographs and a MRI, the results of which revealed left knee and low back strains. These conditions will be treated via a multimodal approach consisting of anti-inflammatories, rehabilitation, training room treatments, and rest. LeBron is currently projected to be Out for the next 2 weeks.

That'll be the most missed time of his career... here's hoping he comes back with a little extra vigor. I miss all-around player Lebron James.

Here begins. Lebron's rapid decline.

Just when they're about to play a tough stretch of opponents. Very good chance Lebron will return to a sub .500 team close to the half way point of the season.

And as Nate Duncan said, that all but ends the cavs hopes of a first round home court advantage

Two weeks! My God, it's all over, he should just retire and save himself the embarrassment of being injured. As Illusionists mentioned in his great wisdom, he must have been chancing his career all this time by taking steroids, and this obviously is 100% proof of it.

A guy is out two weeks and he JUST turned 30

"Here comes a decline."

LMAO

Seriously, haters REALLY want him to decline so bad. The guy has never really had injury concerns and the FIRST time he's out for 2 weeks straight cues the decline?

Morons I tell you, morons.

It's pretty obvious he's declined. Even before the injury you can see he's lost that first step. You really think he's just as fast and agile as hie was when he was 25?

Your contradicting yourself. The fact that he has been healthy for his career probably means he's starting to break down which is not surprising with his age and mileage.

He's still a top 3 and arguably the best player in the league .

No doubt he's not the same as age 25 but maybei should have cleared this up.

By decline I meant MAJOR decline.

Ppl act like he's fallen off of a cliff. Also I do t think this injury has triggered a decline. If anything its fatigue from playing so much.

Cleveland will be better without Lebron if kyrie and love play healthy

Lerbon's decline is better than 98% of players primes in the league

Man the haters are alive lol. I hope he recovers for the good of basketball. But at the same time, he's been just more irritating lately because of his ego and the whole thing with Wade and idk he's obviously hated by many for multiple reasons. Either way, here's to a quick recovery and coming back to try and lead his team.

This is nothing more than LBJ putting the FO and his teammates on notice...

1. His teammates so they get their **** together
2. The FO so they will make some roster moves

Nothing really to see here

It would be a fair assessment of his effort on the defensive end. Offensively he is fine.

He hasn't really looked normal all year, prior to the injury. People were speculating he was about to hit his 30 year old regression before this. You can start to regress and still be an amazing player.

He's been to 4 straight finals and has a lot wear and tear on him, its expected. I'll give him the pass that corny haters never give Kobe.....

Definitely. He has looked tired and basically on defense, he has looked lazy.

That's kinda my point. He's still a top 3 player imo. But you're right as well.

hes been a terrible defender this year.

tredigs
01-01-2015, 09:59 PM
I'd say Lebron is the 3rd or 4th best offensive player (Curry/KD... then CP3/Harden are close) and maybe 50th best defender? Top 10 defensively when he goes all out, but it's so few and far between the past couple seasons you can't call him even "good" on that end. Still, when he's going full bore, there's GOAT level talent readily available.

I think he just needs to get back on roids and tear the league up again.

Man, what a great leader Lebron is according to this theory. Sits out to watch his team lose just so he makes his point how much they suck without him, then bark at the FO to trade away who he deems unworthy.

Basically what you are saying is that Lebron is either faking this injury or that his injury is not that bad and he's only sitting to "prove a point", otherwise he would be on the court.

I'm pretty sure the FO has been on notice. XD

This might backfire on james. Love played great tonight coming back and kyrie played his game as well, it's going to be interesting to see how the cavs perform without James for 2 weeks
