Last 5 games or so with Brook Lopez out and him being given the time he has averaged 19 and 11 on nearly 70 percent shooting.

The Centers in the EAST haven't been too impressive. So if Mason keeps this up can he be an all star this season?

maybe in the future, but not this year.

melo, lebron, gasol, love, noah, horford, milsap, bosh, all out rank him in all star voting.brooklyn is to low record wise and his seasonal averages arent so impressive

This year? Looks unlikely. If you had asked at the beginning of the season, I would have said maybe, given his stellar performance last year, but he had a slow start.

Haven't watched any games, but nice to hear he is back to playing like he was last year. He looked like a future 20/10 player last season. All-Star potential for sure.

There are so many front court players ahead of him in the East:

LeBron James
Carmelo Anthony
Chris Bosh
Kevin Love
Joakim Noah
Pau Gasol
Nikola Vucevic
Tobias Harris
Andre Drummond
Al Jefferson
Marcin Gortat
Al Horford
Paul Millsap

Every single one of those guys deserves it more so he doesn't stand a chance this year.

dont think so, a 5 game sample isnt enough, plus, record factors normally, see Cousins last year.

doesnt have the numbers and a 5 game hot streak isnt going to do it. plus there is no more Center position in the AS game. Given the chance next year he will have a great shot if the Nets dont suck too bad

Not even close

I think he has the potential to be a consistent 18-10 player, but he started heating up a little too late into the season.

Even though there aren't many standouts in the East this year, there are still a bunch of forwards with better numbers/teams that will make the roster ahead of him (whether they deserve to or not)
