Im sure hes thrilled lol

The Philadelphia 76ers have agreed to acquire Andrei Kirilenko from the Brooklyn Nets.

The 76ers will also acquire a 2020 second round pick, along with the right to swap 2018 second rounders and cash while sending Brandon Davies to the Nets.

Kirilenko has not been in Lionel Hollins' rotation this season.

People better watch out for Philly now.

Also Billy King is on a mission to trade away all of the Nets Picks.

This is hysterical to me. Wasn't Kirilenko the Russian billionaires baby. And billy king my goodness, do you not value your draft picks? I just don't know what goes through these gm's heads. Honestly feel like some of us could run a team better.

Wait Brooklyn gave up picks?

Yes they gave up picks. I don't think king knows how to get a deal done without saying "here, take a pick just to take my trash off my hands"

Kirilenko will leave the NBA IMO after his contract expires. I don't understand why the nets had to sweeten the deal with picks when they gave up the better player and a expiring contract.

76ers will waive AK47.
His wife is going thru a though pregnancy. And he told teams he will not travel.

6ers did this deal solely for the second rd pick

Nets did this deal because it'saves Prokorov $14M in salary and taxes.

Nets purchased three 2nd round picks this offseason, they aren't that valuable.

Ah fair enough, I wasn't aware of that.

And I know they usually aren't too valuable, but just found it odd that they had to add picks to the deal, trading away the much superior player (guy is still a pest defensively to deal with), but lamzoka cleared that up for pretty much everyone lol

AK was going to be hard to deal to anyone he likely wont report to any team in the near future. Also Nets got back a player Brandon Davies or something. Its also being reported they are using the new roster spot to sign a wing. With nets having injury problems suddenly they couldn't afford a guy like AK not even with the team. We will see if this leads to other trades or not.

Perhaps AK47 can reunited with Blatt on the Cavs in March?

He can't even make the Nets rotation, but you think he would here? Screw that.

It sounds like he had some injuries and that is why his playing time was reduced. If he can stay healthy I would take a shot on him for the Vet min. It's a fairly low risk move.

You can trade 2nd round picks 6 years in the future? Seems odd. Those picks can be bought for 500k anyway. Maybe they wanted the little expiring too.

Kirilenko might never play again. That, and giving up a 2nd rounder isn't too precious.

Wait Brooklyn gave up picks?

That was my thought. For the Nets sake I hope they meant the 76ers did...

nets gave up a 2020 2nd and have the right to swap 2nds with the Sixers in 2018
