You only have enough to sign one player to the max. Same roster as now. Same situation for both players (Rose in-and-out, Butler being an absolute stud), who do you take?

Hate to say it but still Rose. Rose when healthy is a game changer. Butler is playing very well though.

VERY WELL? He's playing like a ****ing MVP, check the digits.

Butler definitely. I think it's safe to say the MVP Rose is no more and I the "I'm going to take every few games off because I'm worried about life after basketball" Rose is here to stay.

Butler not only cause he stays healthy, but a proven defender and working hard on offensive game

Rose is one knee bump away from an early retirement

I think its safe to say this is Noah and Jimmy's team. Rose is just along for the ride as of now

Butler has to keep doing what he's doing, it's still really early. He's also benefitting from having Gasol in the lineup and even more so when Rose plays. Rose is still dominating games on the rare occasion that he plays. I'd rather make this decision at the all-star break. Premier SG are harder to come by so all things being equal I'd go with Butler.

Butler easy. Rose is a pu$$y with no heart coming off what seems like constant injuries. Butler isn't the talent Rose is but he's a guy who always shows up and plays his *** off for his team, something Rose will never do. Too concerned with his own "brand"

Butler because he shuts down Lebron

Rose.

If Butler keeps this up for a full season, I may change my opinion.

Hate to say it but still Rose. Rose when healthy is a game changer. Butler is playing very well though.Rose is never healthy. Saying "Rose when healthy" just isn't applicable.

Hahah yeah, all those 20/6/3.5 MVP's out there.

I'd say you still take the chance on Rose. Love Butler and his D makes this close, but Rose could potentially lead a contender again.

Butler's starting to remind me of a younger Noah but at the SG position playing with heart, clutch when needed, and truly athletic. Never going to be a hall of fame, but an occasional all star.

Rose is starting to remind me of Grant Hill never able to stay on the court. Would you rather have Noah or Hill? I'm not suggesting but just saying...

It's obviously super easy to say Butler right now, but I might have picked Butler even before the breakout season he's having right now. I just don't think Derrick Rose is ever going to be the same Derrick Rose he was during his MVP season again, and you definitely can't trust that the guy is going to play 70+ games a season consistently ever again.
