Fair deal if he continues to play the way he's playing

I think it's a pretty friendly deal for the Kings, 13.3 isn't bad especially with the cap going up soon

thought he'd never see another good contract again after his Memphis days. good for him, he's been doing well so far.

Steal and a half, kinda makes up for the 19 million he's taking up now

Pretty good deal that won't cripple Sacramento

Yeah with the way the market is right now, if Gay continues to play like he has been, this is (sadly) a steal...

one less free agent target for the knicks.

Excellent deal for the Kings. Gay is in the system in which he thrives. It's a decent deal now, and it becomes a fantastic deal after the cap spike we are expecting. I can see this team in the playoffs sooner rather than later. Need a definitive PF though.

Side note, it's a shame that Derrick Williams didn't pan out.

Happy to see him find a home where he not only fits in but excels. Such a great trade for both organizations.

Great deal for the Kings. I rag on Gay quite a bit, but at this price tag he's well worth it. If he continues his level of play from this season, it's more than a steal... Especially w/ salary cap due to rise.

What does him being gay have to do with anything? Cant you just call him Rudy? Thats racist.

He's played really well since he was dealt to the Kings so this is a very good deal. Once the cap goes up it's going to be even better.

Great deal. He got his money early and understand that. At 13 mil, that's great value. He could have gotten more elsewhere, good to know he believes in what they are going for

I guess I havent been following him much, has he really improved that much this year for this to be considered a good deal by many?

The Kings are a Greg Monroe away from becoming Serious playoff Contenders. Just my opinion.

This is the deal the grizz should have gave him. Not a max player but at this price (with the new salary cap) isn't bad

He's been consistently good (for the most part) since Sacramento acquired him last season.

He was good last year too after the trade. I'm surprised Sacramento got him this cheap. Maybe the bashing he took from his last contract really lowered his stock and gave Sacramento all the leverage. Guys like Rudy Gay always get overpaid nowdays
