Listen, I know the team comes before any player. But I can't lie, it feels so good to see Kobe going out there and still being able to play at a high level. I feel like he needs to start trusting his teammates more (Even though there isn't much Talent) but after so many critics said so many things about Kobe, it's just nice to see him go out there and still kick *** in the NBA. You guys can close this thread, or even call me a troll. But I'm just so pumped to see him playing again. Only thing that could make this better is if we somehow became a legit playoff threat.

I don't care if Kobe is chucking with this crew of misfits and castoffs. Go for 50 Kobe, I love it.

But I don't want the playoffs. NO. Give me first position in the draft. Number 1 draft pick baby!

I feel bad about this but I wake up every morning (live in WI) and check two things; 1: make sure LAL lost 2: many shot attempts Mr. Bryant took.

A legacy being taint. I am a fan of the lakers and also a fan of Kobe but it's acctually sad these last few years. Would love the lakers to rebuild fully and take the quick path. Would love to see Kobe in New York he would be in a better place. I think it would be a great move for all parties. Lakers are a mess at the moment with Kobe so it makes no difference. Its not like they would stink any worst. It's time for change. This is like mj on the wizards good enough to screw up a good pick bad enough to miss the playoffs. But $$ come one come all come see Kobe the great before he retire.

Where would lakers be had they take a different path? Why did they over spend for Nash the great damage goods when they could of sign dragic? What if the made a better effort with Howard? Would Anthony be a laker? What about bosh for Bynum a few years back ? What about Howard for griffen and Bledsoe? It's hind sight but what if? What if lakers could just let go? Lakers struggle with letting go. I think dr buss had a better sense of when to let go like he did with shaq . he traded the most dominant player ever while fallen out his prime . His son and daughter on the other hand get to attached and are star struck. Lakers got nothing for none of there top players afraid to let go only to see them have enough nuts to leave the lakers with drop jaws.

Not sure if I'd call his production a high level. 40% and takes 24 FGA to get 27 PPG.

Buy or sell his FG over 41% at year end.

Then through 5 games he is not producing at a high level.

P&GR makes a great point. It's only been five games. That being said, 28 ppg on 40% shooting isn't all that great. If he can get to 44 by the end of the year I'd be satisfied. It's important to point out that he has been out of the game for almost two years.

yes 5 games. nothing close to be in the mvp conversation but he looks good. good for a player his age good enough to be a member of a championship team.

I expected around 26 PPG on 43-44% shooting. So I am disappointed so far.

Matter.
