I must admit he does have a history of flopping but I haven't seen this man flop tonight.

are you serious? Everytime he drives he throws his head back like he got shot in the damn face.

Every since Artest elbowed him, he's been a little hesitant when driving in. That's why he throws his head back and forward when attacking the rim

Man. People just hate Kobe. It's ridiculous. No one else on the team could get anything going. Kobe sat back and watched the rockets take a 15 point lead. Kobe was taking good shots early on like usual. No one else could hit a shot. But fine, you're right.

Lakers needs shooters. They can't space the floor due to lack of shooters and Lin doesn't have anyone to kick to ball to when he drives in.

Did anyone else that notice that Kobe Bryant's highlight no-look pass to Wesley Johnson was courtesy of James Harden's atrocious defense? Harden is apparently picking up right where he left off last season on that end of the floor.

Didn't notice but it was 1 play, what I did notice was how fearlessly players attacked Kobe. I have a feeling players are going to drain alot of J's in his face this year because it looked like he was dropping back too much on everyone. So if you want to talk about atrocious D, yesterday Kobe was the standard bearer.

They cant space the floor because their coach refuses to stress 3pt shooting. On a team lacking talent, high variance shots are the best chance they have, even if they dont have the best shooters. They certainly have some capable of taking a few, with Randle gone now, maybe they will go small some more and accidentally run into some. Kobe can chuck, Lin led the league IIRC on spot up attempts or something, and Wesley Johnson can make a few. Thats not much tho, they need Swaggy back asap.

It may have been 1 play, but do you seriously doubt that it wasn't even close to the only play of bad D by Harden in that game?

Kobe may be the standard bearer for yesterdays game, but we all know the king of that mountain is Harden...

And I don't give a rats *** about parsons. I don't mind him, his game is pretty nice, but he's definitely a spoiled *****. He's alright.

Still a huge loss to rockets as he was the only guy with good mindset and higher bball IQ on an elementary team.

Some do. But, as you can imagine, watching so many free throws every game gets old. The frustrating thing is that he gets the calls in the regular season but not the postseason so refs 100% understand what's going on and call it anyway. I actually think it contributes alot to his postseason struggles

Damn, love the way this Bulls team is currently constructed.

Depth and size at every position.

All of their bigs can board, pass, and defend.

They have 3 SF's with size and long range shooting.

They have an elite 3 and D SG in Jimmy Butler (once he gets healthy)

And they have 3 PG's with starting experience (one of whom is a former MVP).

If D Rose stays healthy they are the clear favorites. Perfectly rounded team.

Yep. Knicks just aren't in the position to compete anytime soon and these are the last years of Melo's prime. Prior to the offseason I thought it was a sure thing that he'd bolt to either Chicago or Houston because he'd really help both teams immensely and have a chance to contend. I wouldn't blame him for leaving, I thought it made sense for both parties because then the Knicks could rebuild while Melo chased his ring.

But with the roster the Knicks currently have, there's no way they're competing in the next 2-3 years unless they make some miraculous signings/trades but I don't see that happening because they have no assets or cap room.

I think that should have been expected. He always had the skill and talent to play like that the past 4 seasons, but playing behind Lebron and Wade doesn't really help out your numbers. But it did allow him to explore other parts of his game. He's gonna be great this year.

I would just go all out for the scoring record if I am Kobe because he has nothing else to play for, the Lakers stink. This front office has been unable to put anything around him. Granted, the CP3 trade was blocked, Steve Nash has not been able to stay on the court, and they had Howard before he walked, but imagine how different their situation would be right now had they hired Phil Jackson over Mike D'Antoni in 2012. The combo of Dwight and Pau would have had terrific success in the triangle, and Dwight might still be a Laker if Phil was hired.

The Lakers would have looked far more appealing this offseason if Phil was behind the bench, Dwight signed up long term, and Kobe and Nash returning from injury. I would even go as far to say that Melo could be a Laker right now if that was the case, and it is unlikely Gasol would have left. Obviously, Phil would not be in New York had the Lakers hired him and James Dolan would still be running the Knicks. Nash is obviously out for the year again but coming into this season, the Lakers starting lineup could have looked like

PG. Nash
SG. Kobe
SF. Melo
PF. Gasol
C. Howard

Not too sure how the money would have worked, but IMO possible if they had hired Phil over D'Antoni. The Lakers have done crazier things before.

Beautifully said I wish all of that would of happen. But Id like to take this time to apologize to ALL Bulls fans I was dead wrong Gasol still got it and is a Top PF

too many teams, the talent is spread out like crazy for the most part. Anyone could beat anyone on any given night. But yes, the league is as talented as ever!

OKC lost and he shot under 50%. How is that establishing himself over CP3 or Curry? Right now he's about at the same level as Tony Parker.

Of course his team lost. Telfair 1-9; ibaka 4-11; Jones 1-9. 12% (2-16) from 3pt land.
He held lillard to 10 pnts. He scored 38 points. He shot 15/16 fits. He hit 1/2 3 pt shots. That's like a 58 ts %. Great efficiency for a guard.
He will establish himself as the best guard soon. He's better than parker no doubt about it. Cp3 isn't what he once was anymore although the best guard last year. Curry is right behind them, his defense isn't nearly as good as the others. Westbrook this year is going to put up crazy stats.

I have never seen the Nuggets play that good of defense. Also the depth is just crazy.
