Josh Childress plays in the NBL here in Australia and he got hit by a hard screen and then proceeded to elbow Jesse Wagstaff.

Have a look at the link and video ...pretty nasty stuff

Dirty, dirty play. He got hit with a clean, hard screen and couldn't handle it.

And then it looks like he taunts the other team by clapping at them.

Sickening.

He will be a hero in Sydney, they love that stuff. I'm not suprised that he cracked it though, the wildcats are a dirty team who like to niggle players into making mistakes.

Wow...

See I really don't understand why professional basketball players get all pissed at a play like this. I would say most if not all have played ball at the park, ymca, on the streets etc.. I've played pickup ball, there's been waaaay harder more physical plays. Nobody even got hurt on this play, no blood no foul.. I guess there mighta been some **** talking that we don't know about, but that should be expected in basketball.. Not sure what set Childress off, but whatever..

What a chump. Act like that on the streets and your own team won't even have your back.

Definitely a douche move by Childress and completely uncalled for, but I'm not going to call that screen 100% clean. You can see him put a little something extra into it right before contact.

I have no problem with this, the screen set on him was 100% dirty, you can see the screener moving his arms up and leaning into it the whole time. Ultimately got what he deserved.

Hard screen, but Childress should be mad at his teammates not calling it out. Also what an uncalled for retaliation. Should have been tossed out, he made no play on the ball
