If they don't want to pay to let him develop someone else will.

Its not like there any rush anyway.

Not a bad deal.

It's fair.

In a couple of seasons when average players are making $15M a year, thisl deal will look much better.

Don't get me wrong I'm not bashing the magic. They needed to make an offer or someone would just part of the problem with the nba and last CBA was teams paying money now for an unfinished product and having it bite them you know where. And causing inflation.

Great deal for the magic.

Vuc looks much better this season, he looks better physically and he's aggressive offensively. He will be a better player. I think he'll average 16-11 easily with improved defense. Decent deal IMO. I wanted the magic to lock him up quick, just after seeing a couple of preseason games.

Teams have to pay for an unfinished product, but lets not forget the magic are partly responsible for his development. They are required to create the right environment for him to grow.

Considering what chandler parsons, hibbert ,Jordan and a slew of others (Bogut) have gotten paid this is a steal. Double/Double guy and non FT% Center. Hell it's cheap to keep him. Max deals are given to guys nowadays, this one should be an Allstar this year at center in the East

That's a great deal. That 11-13 mil per year range has been the going rate for centers for years. Especially since the new tv deal and he's young and proven

This. All of these new deals (Faried, Vuc, etc.) need to be viewed in the context of the cap going up. They'll look much more team friendly in a few years.

I think it's a little much but don't blame them

Nice deal, He's underrated to me because he's on the magic but played well last year and this preseason looked better.

That's a total steal for the magic, especially with the new tv deal that'll be affecting the cap.

I think he's a REALLY solid player. I like it.

Incredible work for both parties on this deal. I surmise Moose Monroe will possibly get around the same money this next offseason.

10-12M seem to be the going rate for young decent centers. Seems about right around the norm.

$13.5M per seems a bit steep. But with new tv deal 3 years from now will look alright then. Suppose Faried set the market. Sanders 4/ $44M looks like a steal now. But there will always be that one team with tons of capspace in free agency. That's all it takes to drive up a RFA. So better sign him now then later for more.
