In the upcoming season, Kobe Bryant begins the final chapter of his career. We need to appreciate what he's given to the game, and what he has left to offer.

A legend nonsense... YOU can't be a legend when you play your entire career with studs at every position on your team

I'm pretty sure the last chapter in his career began in 2011.

Lol. Maybe some sense there.

However, aside from all the obvious reasons as to what Kobe means to the game, I'm going to miss how candid he is in interviews and his overall public persona. He is one of the only or may be the only player who will answer a question with complete honesty without giving a crap about what anyone has to say about it.

I feel like within today's NBA and how the media magnifies these players if they say anything remotely negative, everyone is too scared to say what they really think. That's something that I feel like we may not get from a player in a very long time. Especially one who will have a career as successful as Kobe has.

They could have easily won that game in regulation, and they could have one more than one game in the 04 finals had he passed the ball.

Seems like a poor example of his greatness.

Yup. He is soo overrated. lol.

There was nobody better in the game than Kobe if he took you 1 on 1. He basically made his opponents look stupid on the court when he wanted to.

Yeah cuz Smush Parker, Kwame Brown, Andrew Bynum, Chris Mihm, Jordan Hill, Luke Walton, Kendal MArshall, Brian Cook, Robert Sacre, Broken Steve Nash, Jordan Farmar, Sasha Vujecic, Slava Medvedenko, Lamar Odom are all legends.
He played with Shaq and Pau, so what the heck is Legend at every position, go troll somewhere else.
