The scouts were watching his preseason games and made that evaluation. Also Broussard said that multiple players' attitude around the league is to go against both Kobe and Nash hard and force those guys into retirement, putting the old guys on notice that their time is up and it's time for the new guys to rise and shine.

What do you make of this?

Two things to address here:

1. Quit making these ****ing threads. You don't like Kobe Bryant. We get it. I don't either, but you don't see me making multiple Kobe hate threads on the front page. It's getting old really fast.

2. If you're going to make such a blatant statement like this in a thread, you need to back it up with a source. It takes all of five seconds to link an article, and if you can't take the time to do it, your point has already lost all credibility.

So waitaminute, does that mean people have been going at Nash and Bryant easy in their careers?

The goal for any players should be the same, beat your competition by any means following the rules. It'll just be easier to go against those 2 now than it was in the past.

Kobe as a superstar is 'probably' done, but he still has all star years left I bet.

He's a Lakers fan, I think it's the opposite of him not liking Kobe.

Agree with you 100%, although I'am very concerned with Kobe's health. His lift is gone completely and he even looks like he changed the release on his shot. But since this is Kobe, I will give him 20 games to see if he can get his legs in better condition.

Meh... Broussard has been a long time Lebron advocate and Kobe/Laker hater. I'd take what he has to say with a grain of salt. Let me guess the names of the two analysts he spoke with... John Hollinger and Bill Simmons.

All three of these guys are just sad and have been making predictions against Kobe his whole career.

I'll never count Kobe out. Best work ethic in the game.

I won't pretend to know more than NBA scouts, but I gotta see it to believe it.

I don't know why people are even acting surprised by this, did you see him play last year?

Another major surgery later, and you guys are expecting vintage Kobe? Get real...

Done with what? Kobe is a scorer, can still shoot, intends to, and we all expect it. That's what he does and will do until he decides to retire.

1. Chris Broussard is always pulling **** out of his ***

2. Kobe is ranked "40th" meaning he's still a really good 2nd option on a team

3. Everyone is a Kobe hater

Hate on Haters

Why does Broussard have a job as a reporter when he reports crap like this.

Hopefully he's not done. I've never been his biggest fan but it'd be a shame to see him have to retire because of an injury and not on his own terms.
