View Full Version : Player Ratings For 2K15!

I have been looking everywhere for majority of the player ratings for 2K15, and just found some that gave like 10-20 of the players, this one gives you a majority of them, I am a little disappointed at some of the ratings, but I think that 2k is basing this year on a different format on how they rate the players this year. In this years game, there are only 4 players to have a player rating of 90 or better, before you open this link up http://thereal2kinsider.blogspot.com/2014/09/official-nba-2k15-ratings-analysis.html I challenge everyone to guess who are the top 10 players in this game in order and there ratings next to it, and see if you came close. Remember, that there are only 4 players in this game with a player rating of 90 or better, so that should get you started.

Hopefully a lot of you guys don't cheat, and if you have already seen most of them try not ruining it for anybody else.:eyebrow:

I already know Jabari Parker has the highest rookie rating of 78. That was leaked out like a month ago.

Cant, I already looked at the list to check the Bucks out. Larry Sanders not even on the list yet. I suppose their deciding what to do with him from the injury and down year he had.

Ok so skipped all the comments, so here is my guess. Unfortunately last 2k game I played was 2k10, so don't really know the ratings of last 4 games, but definetely gonna buy this one.

So my guess top 13:
LeBron 97
Durant 95 or probably same 97, because he is on the cover and had a great last season, but imo he should not have same rating as LBJ.
Chris Paul 92
Kevin Love 91
Russell Westbrook 88
Blake Griffin 87
Anthony Davis 87
Stephen Curry 86
Carmelo Anthony 86
Dwight Howard 85
DeMarcus Cousins 84
James Harden 84
Paul George 82

Center ratings need a update. They have Asik as same rating as Dalembert. But Asik was a back up to Howard. Bucks already had Dalembert. Think he should be decreased a bit. Also they have Chandler as forth best center. Yeah maybe like back when he won a ring with Mavs a while back. He's not same guy any more. I'm sure they will rob Sanders rating. Yeah he had the injury and bar fight and the suspension. So they probably lower his value.

But if he plays like two years ago he will be better then Chandler for sure. Also Giannis got robbed of a rating as well. They have him same rank as Moute. Moute been regressing since way before Bucks traded him. Ersan got robbed as well. He's same rank as Humphries. That's highway robbery. Humphries was horrible years ago. Ersan was playing through injury last year.

Duncan at 90 is a joke

The ratings are always awful in 2k

They really need to spread it out more so players aren't so closely rated. If Lebron is a 96, a Harden should be an 80, and a Monte Ellis should be an 75, and a Nick Young should be a 65, and a Felton should be a 50

That's how Live used to do it and it really emphasized the disparity in talent true to real life, not basing it by inflated stats where a lebron is a 98, harden 92, Ellis 85, Nick Young 78, Felton 76

Sorry not sure if I'm bring biased here, but for 2 guys I watched closely, Dirk has an awful playoff series and is +3 and an 88 now? VC has a redemption playoff series, hits that GW and is a -1 77 now?

Did you see Dirk during the reg season? He looked as good as ever. I would trust a full season of production over one series.

They have only officially released all ratings up until the top 100 plus anybody who requests their rating. They have been releasing 100 for every 5k twitter followers that the official NBA 2K account gets or something. There have also been a few that have leaked from leaked screenshots and videos. That's why there are still quite a few missing.

As for the new rating system, I think I like it better than years past. They have lowered some guys who used to be a bit overrated as well as boosted some guys who were underrated.

You guys are crazy if you don't like the new ratings. There isn't a huge disparity between talent in the nba, role players have been way underrated and just played stupid, while stars have been unstoppable. It'll be a much better game this year.
Kyrie sucks on defence so that is a fair rating.

it was announced a while back that there will only be 4 90+ rated players this season. lebron at 98, durant at 95, and duncan at 90 are all confirmed. the safe bet is chris paul at 91 since that's seemed to leak but unconfirmed as the other player. but ratings will be lower in general this season for the stars, and role players will get more value it seems.

I think you're crazy. Disparity among talent levels is always huge in the NBA.. My biggest beef is with role players. Not every role player is a 78.

ya for everyone wondering why certain players are missing it's because 2k has been releasing like a 100 or so at a time from worst rated to best whenever they reach a certain milestone for twitter followers lol. right now they are up to the 78ovr range, but some of the higher rating are released since people have seen them in screen shots, or the player has asked for his rating on twitter and in that case they respond with it and release it.

Even if we ignored the exaggeration, thats how they do it DURING the nba season. When they redo the rosters for the initial base file, they base it on the entirety of their prior season. They are suppose to increase or decrease based on how it compares to the year prior. Im not sure but I get the feeling they also give slight boosts when projecting improvement. With VC, they might expect a slight decline but Im sure he will still be a serviceable player.

The other variable to consider is a possible recalibration in their ranking/grading system. Maybe Vince is the same player but the overall league improved. Either way, a change of 1 pt means nothing. Just be happy you can still play with him.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to drop 40-10-10 with like a 72 rated Tmac? I actually liked to play as the Spurs with Tmac running the show but he was a slightly better player when he was with Atlanta. Nowadays I outscore teams with Kobe and a high rating, Im hoping that doesn't change.

Most of the player ratings , other players weren't listed because of contract . 2k has added a ton of new ratings including I believe like 13 different IQ ratings which should explain Duncan's 90 overall . New ratings and the fact I think they used a combination of the players last two active seasons addresses the ratings and ratings of injured players . Me personally like the new scale and they have gotten rid of signature skills and added badges . There are 77 Badges and a player can hold that many as well I believe . Just because multi players are rated the same doesn't mean they all play a like .

didn't know where to put this but Steve Kerr is multi talented. He can coach and commentate at the same time. Also if you put the 90s bulls against the Warriors, Kerr can play for the opposing team, coach the other team, and commentate at the same time.
