People may be shocked at who is number 2 is on makes. The rest probably aren't a surprise. Top 5 "bank shot" shooters last season. Interesting to see that the shot in general is becoming less used and is now predominantly big men. Zbo is also damn good to be shooting 83 percent on it, although it's much lower volume than the other guys.

Duncan: 56/103 -54%
Griffin: 47/65- 72%
David Lee: 44/62 -71%
Kevin Love: 40/57 - 70%
ZBo: 35/42 - 83%

Guys like Iverson, Kobe, Jordan made the "bank" shot uncool. So many times that person who uses the backboard gets made fun of.

Well look at these blazing high percentages. They need to shot the bank more often

This is actually a pretty cool stat I didn't know existed but you had to make it annoying with the Griffin hype on bank shots....

This is y I love Duncan tho...103 attempts...and Zbo is just confirming his awesome touch around rim...he always softly hits if off glass.

I mentioned it not to hype so much as to surprise people that don't view him as "skilled". I guarantee you if I named these names off without the numbers most would say he didn't belong right?

The bank shot is simple physics. It often seems to me that players try to go for the 'swish' or maybe it just looks that way, and then they come up short or miss completely. The bank shot should make a comeback, and the hook shot. These numbers are inspiring!

Never understood why more guys don't use the glass. I remember Pippen used to use the bank shot pretty often in his day. Not surprised to only see big men on here. Maybe more wing guys will pick it up

I wouldn't consider the Bank Shot in the skilled area but more fundamentals which actually is probably more of shock as Blake is widely considered an athlete only.

One of the NBA twitters tweeted it Thug. It wasn't from an article. It was something like @Nbastats? Just type bank shots on Twitter, will probably come up. The names/numbers seemed realistic so I had no reason to doubt

Wow I thought Tim Duncan used that shot more then that. He's definitely got that shot down IMO

Thug I'm not sure how we can get that stat TBH. Synergy and BBR don't have I think?

I wonder where G Vasquez is on this list... Although his bank shot is regularly from further out than most

Minutes down, less usage, etc... I'd love to see those numbers when the offense was run through him though.

I already said.. it's from a sports twitter/Facebook account. "Hoops Talk".

I don't see why someone would randomly pull a bunch of numbers out of thin air, especially when they seem so probable based on what we watch.
