Who has this so called notion that stars win by themselves? Last I checked he went to a allstar team and made 4 straight Finals trips. With two more younger allstars I think he'll be ok....

There's always a chance for anything. I personally think his current team couldn't stack up against some of the western conference juggernauts at the moment but they could definitely tinker their roster in the next couple years to really dominate.

Even if the OP put 'can Lebron won another ring' the title still wouldn't make sense as the op is asking a question in the past tense, meaning asking a question about stuff that already happened.

I don't see any team in the league, other than the Spurs, having the ability to beat the Cavs in a seven game series. And to me the Cavs vs Spurs is 50/50. I hope the Cavs play the OKC in the finals. Spurs are just on another level mentally.

I think the commitment to team defense, the chemistry, the veteran presence, and the best coach in the league puts San Antonio over Miami currently in a 7 game series.

However, I also think the clippers thunder and bulls (big if depending on rose) could compete with the cavs current roster in a 7 game series. The reason I am not big on them is mostly because I think there will be a lack of defense on the team. I don't think they will be terrible but I do think they will be average. Will their superior offense carry them to a championship with average defense? I'm not sure, my money says no but we will see.

Lebron can,The NBA will let him do it at least on time, many people want to see that

If you're suggesting it was fixed, I see no reason why NBA would want Spurs to beat Miami. In fact, it was just destruction. They didn't even try to make it 7 games. Clearly not fake... and if last season (2012-2013) wasn't proof, you can't fix those two three pointers and Kawai Leonard/Ginobili missing a free throw a piece.

Horrible, awful grammar aside, this thread is pretty pointless. If you ask a question as simple as "Can Player X win another championship?" the answer is always going go be "yes" as long as they're still part of an NBA team. You could ask me "Can Josh Powell or Norris Cole win another championship?" and I would say "yes" without hesitation. Because a player can move teams or be moved for a million different reasons and up on any of the other 29 rosters by the end of the season. And any of 5-7 teams going into a season can feasibly win a title. So even if Player X is a terrible player on the worst team in the league and Player Y is the best player on one of the best teams in the league, both guys could feasibly win a championship before their careers are over.

If you want to ask the right question, make it "WILL Lebron win another championship?" or "Will Lebron win a championship in Cleveland?" or "How many more championships will Lebron win?" Those are all far, far better questions.

As long as his confidence is not shaken come Halloween when he has to deal with Jimmy Butler on him then he will be able to.

And the way Kryie and Rose have played w FIBA definitely makes 3 or 4 more probable.

Nope. IMO. He'll spend the next two years trying to right the ship and fail. Then sign somewhere else for max$ at 33 years old. Players that rely mostly on athleticism do not age like wine. (see Gerald Wallace)

Maybe in a few years as a Karl Malone type throw in. But definitely not in CLE and never again as the man.

A couple of things. First off, in two years, Lebron won't be 33. He'll be 31. That's two years of his prime that you're taking away there. Secondly, he can probably still play at this level for another 4-6 years. Look at how Kobe has kept himself in shape and evolved his game over the years as his athleticism has faded. I would actually argue that Lebron is better suited to play at a high level later in his career, because he's become a competent post player and 3-point shooter and much of his game involves getting other players involved.

Losing the weight this offseason also is a step in the right direction.

That's an extremely bold statement. Why can't he win a title in Cleveland? Is there a team out there that is substantially better? Because I certainly don't see one in the Eastern Conference. And if the Cavs can make maybe 2-3 runs to the Finals in the remaining years of Lebron's prime, he's bound to win at least one in that time span.

Yeah awful. At worst I see Lebron aging like Karl Malone. But I think because he is even more of a specimen, he will be better for even longer than malone. I can see Lebron at 40 still starting and contributing on a championship team. Still be a pretty good, and maybe even still being a top 15-20 player in the NBA at 40.

Spurs, OKC, Bulls (if Rose doesnt pull an RGIII) Clippers and Mavs can beat The Cavs and Yes! I said Mavs lol

People forget some of these guys haven't even been in the playoffs yet and are young.

The thing with LeBron and his aging is this: We've never really ever seen a player like LeBron. We've seen MJ (Kobe), we've seen Karl Malone (probably Blake Griffin of that time), we've seen Rose (Westbrook), etc,. But realistically, have we ever seen a 260, 6"8 center who runs the floor like a PG. Who can shoot, post up, and pretty much have the best overall game we've ever seen. I don't think he'll just deteriorate like the common NBA player. This guy came from 18 years old to his second season putting up 27/7/7. It's safe to say that even if he gets older, he'll still be a big-time player.

Magic Johnson? And who knows? He might suffer an injury that starts a rapid decline.
