In the 60's the league had the All-NBA First and Second team, but only had 8-10 teams.

Now there is three times as many team, but there are only three All-NBA teams.

Do you think it might be appropriate to divide the All-NBA teams up into East and West categories and give each conference two teams?

Sure, and everyone should get a trophy too.

If you're going to divide it by conference, one team per conference would be appropriate. But 2, for a total of 4? Too much.

I think the current is too much too. Like, who really cares about being on the third team? I'm sure the players stop caring after not making the second team, if they even care at all.

They already do that. It's called the all-star game. Have you heard of it?

A better proposal would be to add an All-NBA Fourth team perhaps, but def NOT to split it up by conferences. Honestly, Im starting to wish they did the playoffs with the 16 best teams. It usually evens out between West and East, but last year was a disgrace where the West's 10th seed would have been East's 8th seed and West's 7th seed would have been the East's 3rd seed

Yes they should. The west can be the all nba first team. The east can be the all nba second team.
