There's a lot of debates about who the best are etc, but I was curious, who are your ten favourite players to watch right now?

Obviously as a Dubs fan I have some bias, love all of my Warriors. But my top 10 players to watch right now are;

1. Draymond Green/Stephen Curry
2. Tim Duncan.
3. Joakim Noah.
(A healthy Derrick Rose would fit in here, everyone would move down a slot but I'm omitting him for now, until he's proven he's really "back")
4. Anthony Davis.
5. Damian Lillard.
6. Goran Dragic.
7. Gordon Hayward.
8. Tony Parker.
9. Ricky Rubio.
10. Paul Millsap.

Just missing out, Patrick Beverley, LaMarcus Aldridge and Amir Johnson.

Some of these I enjoy just to see the highs and lows of their game, others because they are consistently amazing. But for the most part, I enjoy watching certain 4 man units. Like last year I found myself really enjoying the play of the Mavs 2nd unit, especially when Devin came back. Devin, Vince, Wright were surprisingly effective together.

Gibson is a great shout but what is it about Caldwell Pope's game that you enjoy?

The guy is going to turn some heads this season I think. When he was in the rotation he was our best perimeter defender and he played with a lot of energy. His shots weren't falling last year, hopefully he can change that. He's fortunate enough to have the right mechanics.

Most Piston fans are pretty high on him.

I've always respected Deng's all-around game and ironman ability to stay on the floor for 40 minutes easy (not that I expect him to this season). McRoberts' passing ability excites me too.

Says the guy that believes someone who yells a lot and gets pumped over their product is assuredly a cocaine addict despite zero evidence. LOL.

I don't see why thats relevant. And he doesn't "yell a lot" he acts like a monkey on stage for no reason, he cries and dances to dirty dancing will talking about his love for that movie during a leaving speech, he screams down a microphone and claims all of his screams have five letters in them. Dude is on drugs and it's commonly accepted within those circles, I never said he was an addict. Most of these rich guys are on something even if it recreational. We've already discussed this.

I don't see why that compares to this discussion? Care to elaborate?

I was making the point that "normal" is subjective and the dude who can "never forgive" Davis doing some stupid teen **** clearly has homophobic tendencies.

What's normal is irrelevant. Disliking someone as a player because they do things you don't like or understand seems silly.

I think this thread should say top ten players that don't play for your team... Anyways that's how ill approach it to keep my homerism out of it.

In no specific order:

Durant
Lillard
Aldridge
Oladipo
Curry
Marc Gasol
Duncan
Leonard
Dragic
Drummond
Davis

Yep I have 11

How does naming your favorite players have homerism involved at all? If you ten favorite are all cavs then go for it lol. Its not ten best or anything.

1) Irving
2) Rubio
3) KD
4) Lebron
5) Rose
6) Anthony Davis
7) Harden
8) KG
9) Blake Griffin
10) Shved

I really want to put Curry on this list, but I am so bitter about the Wolves not drafting him that I can't - but he is a phenomenal player that I didn't think would make in in the NBA. I am also surprised not to see Rubio more often - yes he is a historically bad shooter - but he is such a harder worker and has a great fiery personality, not to mention he is just fun to watch when he is not bricking jumpers.

Okay Dr Phil. At least if you're going to quote someone make sure you do it correctly. I never said I won't "forgive him". I never said I hated him. I just can't put him as one of my favourites.
I guess you and your boys used to spank each other back in the day. That's good for you. Its people who accuse others of homosexual tendencies that are actually insecure about their sexuality. Its not really about being homo, dumbass. Its about being a man and having self respect, maybe you should learn a little bit about that...

You said you haven't forgiven him... forgiven him for what? Doing something that has absolutely nothing to do with you? That's how you judge a player?

If Michael Jordan did something like that would you dislike him as a player?

Your argument is ludicrous.

And how exactly do you define "being a man" tell me, what does being a man mean? Since you clearly have the right answer. Is it about being tough? Is that the issue? He's not tough? What is it?

And he wasn't a man, he was a teenager. So... yeah.

How is it derailing? The discussion is favourite players and why people like them. So why people dislike them is an obvious consequence of said discussion. It's perfectly on topic.

Read ffs. I'm not going to get into this with you. You're trying too hard to outsmart the wrong guy. I'm pretty sure even his family would've felt a moment of shame if they saw the video. I'm sure they're proud of him overall though, and they should be. Like I said I dont hate the guy, I want to see him succeed because he can be a beast.
