As almost always, Grantland filed another good story, this one about hybrid big men (http://grantland.com/features/the-nbas-bigs-problem/).

Some trends have emerged over the last three summers. The price of shooting at all positions has gone up. And one player type has become less and less desired, to the point it may already be a market inefficiency: the power forward who canít shoot 3s and canít protect the rim or provide real fill-in minutes at center.
Interesting read, and I think it put some reasoning behind the perceived value of rugged smaller power forwards like Kenneth Faried and better-shooting bigs like Spencer Hawes. It was odd that there was no mention in the story of Thaddeus Young, who seems like one of the better hybrids right now.
