As the poll says does Chronz avatar need to shave it's porn stache?

Just kidding.

Anyways we all know how strong the Western Conference was last year and how pathetic the Eastern Conference was.

So how would each team win total look like if they played the majority against the other conference.

Last year each East team played 52 games against it's conference and 30 games against the Western conference.

What I did was take the win totals of each team had against it's own conference and divide it by 52. For example, Sacramento won 15 games in it's own conference for a win% of 0.288. I would then take that win % and multiply it by 30, which gives Sacramento about 8.653 wins if it played in the Eastern Conference.

To get the other half I subtracted the teams total win total minus the conference win total. In Sacramento's case it would be 28-15=13. This means Sacramento won 13 games against the Eastern conference. With Sacramento playing 30 games, their win% against the eastern conference comes to 0.433 which I multiplied by 52 to see how many wins they would have had against the eastern conference, in this case 22.516.

Lastly I added the total amount of 22.516 and 8.653 and if Sacramento played an Eastern conference schedule they would have won 31.169 games.

For an eastern conference team just reverse the formula.

So here is how many wins each Eastern Conference team might have won if they played 52 games against the West and 30 games against the East.

1. Miami - 54.281
2. Indiana - 53.132
3. Brooklyn - 46.2
4. Toronto - 46.194
5. Chicago - 42.725
6. Charlotte - 39.840
7. Washington - 38.104
8. New York - 34.066
-----------------------------------------------------
9. Atlanta - 33.486
10. Cleveland - 32.915
11. Detroit - 23.669
12. Orlando - 20.207
13. Philadelphia - 19.672
14. Boston - 19.048
15. Milwaukee - 14.2

The same would be for the Western Conference, here's how many wins each team might have if they played 52 games against the east and 30 games against the West.

1. San Antonio - 63.523
2. OKC - 60.635
3. Houston/Portland - 57.75
4. Houston/Portland - 57.75
5. Clippers - 57.169
6. Memphis - 53.13
7. Goldon State - 52.55
8. Dallas - 51.396
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
9. Phoenix - 50.819
10. Minnesota - 42.735
11. New Orleans - 41.586
12. Denver - 39.271
13. Sacramento - 31.186
14. Lakers - 29.453
15. Utah - 28.3

Now of course this is just a fun exercise on each teams win percentage against their conference and the other. There no telling how it really would have gone down due to possible injury or how each team might have played easier or harder compared to the schedule they played.
