Please help settle a debate. Who will have a better fantasy year?

Can't be serious? Turner is awful.

I hope to god it's not you arguing for Turner.

Oladipo is going to get far more consistent minutes. He was a far better fantasy player last year. It's pretty obvious he's the choice. ESPN's fantasy projections have him as the 5th best fantasy SG going into next season. Turner is at 38....

Also, Turner sucks. I'm far from a HUGE Oladipo believer, but this is obvious.

Oladipo. Easily.
Age. Athleticism. Defense. He's a hybrid guard who can play both spots.

Turner. Had one shining season on the worst team in recent memory. Didn't give the Pacers much... Oladipo's jumper looks improved in the summer league, can't say the same about Turner in a few seasons.

I do feel like Evan will have a good year with the Celtics playing under Stevens and with rondo

I had both on my fantasy, and even though Turner put up better raw numbers, his efficiency was TURRIBLE. Oladipo always seemed to put up +50%FG and had at least a block or a steal each night(underrated stats for a guard). Oladipo, also i can see improving a lot, while Turner being bounced around to the Celtics won't have those same Philly minutes.

in real life Oladipo>>>>>>>>>>>ET

in fantasy its much closer assuming ET is starting for Boston. he is good at putting up numbers on a bad team.

a little early to be talking fantasy thoguht aint it?

^pretty much sums up this situation. Although I still think Oladipo will be a better fantasy player this season as his role increases. He has the better potential obviously. A lot of fans in here seem to forget that ET was averaging 17, 6 & 4 as a 6er last season.

That is strictly from a fantasy stand point.

My answer. Its Oladipo either way but in fantasy it is closer bc Turner is capable of putting up 15-5-5 type numbers when gets minutes.

Turner is going to be gunning for that first big contract. Don't be surprised if he's much better from a fantasy value.

Is there a reason it's just these 2? I'd think there are better choices.

Unless turner has an all star season, I don't see anyway he's "much better". Its not that I'm really high on oladipo, I just think turner is not that good. Although, I don't know exactly how the fantasy stats work.

I don't know much about point leagues, but (roto-leagues) which is what I play, the game is divided up into 9 categories by default. Points, Rebounds, Assists, Blocks, Steals, 3-pointers, FG%, FT% & TO(s). Turner was a superior fantasy player last year when he was on Phili.

Absolutely no one here thinks Turner is a better player or prospect (or god I hope not).
