Based on his NBA achievements? No. Based on his European basketball achievements? Yes. I think there's a good chance he'll make the Hall of Fame one day, but it won't be because of his worth as an NBA player.

You had me at 2x yugoslovian cup champion.

Absolutely. 3x champ, part of the 72 win team, international Croatian sensation.

His real nba worth sadly was never measured.
he joined the league a bit too late and then of course he had that bald dude that made dunks with his tongue out, then that hobbit Pippin? and that certain Bride with the red hair ;) so he had to take that 6th man role ( and be terrible effective in it) then when they left he was too old already.

I have my opinión that if he had been drafted by a different team and gone into the league in say 91 he would have had a starry career.

kukocs team 88-91 would have kicked any ncaa champion 88-91 out of the court, and probably all of the expansión teams ( Olr-Mia-No-Minn)+ some of the lotto nba teams.

Only valid if it was completed with proof on NBA Jam.

I have always felt he was an underrated member of the Bulls, similar to the lakers when they had Lamar Odom. Both guys were extremely versatile, and very valuable to their respective teams.

Based on Toni's NBA resume, I would say no to him being a Hall of Fame player, however if you factor in his career overseas; he will most likely get in. He won a lot playing in Europe.

For his overall basketball career but not if we are just talking strictly about his NBA career.

This! lol

Seriously, the HOF LOVES a guy with a great Euro resume who also won in the NBA.

No doubt he gets in. Even had he not played in the NBA and won 3 rings, he would have likely gotten into the HOF. He was the 'Michael Jordan' of Europe when he came over.

That would have been Drazen Petrovic.

Kukoc was more of a Larry Bird.

I'll admit, even as my countryman, I never watched him play a lot. But when I did, it was mostly alongside MJ and Pip, and I was never really impressed with him, so I'll have to say no.

Also selected to the top 50 contributers to fiba basket ever. I think if Toni played in todays(watered down era) NBA, his nba stats and career would be much better cause back than Toni hated the physical play and he shied away from style he displayed in Europe
