Which one prospect or player would you not give up for Lebron James in a Trade? Factor in Skill/Age/Salary and so on and give your reasoning

I would give up anybody for the best player in the world.

Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis are the only guys I can think of. Durant because he's shown to have as good/better seasons than Lebron and is only <26years old while not relying on athleticism to be productive. Anthony Davis because he's 21 and has best big in the league potential.

Anthony Davis and Giannis Antentokounmpo have the highest ceilings in the league right now, I would have a hard time parting with those players and sometimes it's more fun to groom your own superstar than trade for a proven one.

Durant, Davis, and Blake would be tough for me to give up. Probably nobody I wouldn't trade though.

Durant

That's it.

Depends on my team, but if were talking about if I were the Cavs GM and I could trade Lebron, with no off-court consequences and my owner wasn't Dan Gilbert, A Lebron for Anthony Davis swap would be very tempting. That way the pressure of a 30 year old Lebron isn't there and you can let the most talented young roster ever develop together.

If were talking in terms of just who I'd pick to start a team with over Lebron? Probably just Durant.

Lol i hear you. Lillard has game, isn't scared in the clutch, and hasn't even hit his prime yet. PGs like that don't come along everyday.

Durant

Anthony Davis due to Potential/position and contract (the Pelicans still have rights on him for the next while). ditto on Drummond (guy could potentially become a beast at a very important position)

Maybe Wiggins (but would have to see him play a bit first)

That's pretty much it though

Drummond will be getting paid when he becomes a free agent.....he's an absolute beast.

Only Davis and Durant, maybe Paul George (he only 24). I would give up Lillard in a heart beat and Giannis Antentokounmpo name being mentioned so much is a joke to me :laugh::laugh:

get out of here. i dont understand how this kid has become so overrated after averaging like 6pts a game last year. if you are holding off dealing him in a deal to get James you would be getting fired by your owner

Winner!

But yeah, Davis and Durant are the obvious ones. That's about it...unless you're a REALLY ****** team that somehow would even be good if you traded for him. Drummond is an interesting name but my god has he been terrible defensively thus far. He hasn't shown enough on that end to justify not trading him for LeBron.

I would trade roughly no one for Lebron. Anyone who is traded for him is basically just a lost asset. LBJ can and will leave whenever he wants.

Anthony Davis and thats it. He is the only player IMO with the potential to be better than Lebron.

Nobody. LeBron is a top 5 player all time. Not only that, he brings you so much attention and money off the court as well. He's a good guy who is an owner's dream (unless you lose him of course).

You simply can't get equal money back. You might get equal talent back, but that would be in about 4 or 5 years and we're all speculating at that point.

people will be eating their words about giannis, wtf were Paul Georges #'s when he was 19? there are only a handful of people on the planet with his size and athleticism. we honestly have no idea what a 6' 11" kid who can shoot 3's, play PG and take 2 dribbles from the 3 pt line to the rim.

i know this is a bleacher report article but this guy agrees with me that he is the best under 20 year old on the planet. i'm taking him over Jabari and Wiggins also.

Good point there. The money/attention side of it is huge. Durant/Davis would be the only choices.

Sorry random Giannis fan, he showed that he couldn't play PG on either end of the court in summer league, not the opposite if you watched his games

As a GM it would depend on the situation. Are you rebuilding or one player away from some rings? Remember it isn't all about who the best player in the world is. Lebron has a player option next year and only a two year contract. As a GM there better be players you won't give up just for a rental of Lebron.

Being a real GM isn't the same as arguing over who the best player is on PSD.
