Atlanta and Charlotte are rumoured to want him. If you want him you have to have $1.5 million in cap space. Where do you think he goes?

Hawks most likely.

Hornets would be intriguing.

Walker
Stephenson/henderson
MKG
Boozer/mcroberts
Al Jefferson/Biyombo

Probably a top 5 team in the east.

I'm guessing Boozer is an Elton Brand replacement off the bench.

and some how you also missed out on placing their highly promising lotto pick Vonleh in their depth chart.

Should go to Charlotte or Atlanta. Both have a opportunity to be a threat in the east

I could see Rockets putting in a good bid.

i have a feeling they will.

my Rocket team dream scenario for this off season.

put a very good bid on Boozer. sign Marion. go after Jameer and ask for Okafor's health and availability.

Starters:
Howard
Boozer
Ariza
Harden
Beverly

Bench:
Okafor
Jones
Marion
Daniels
Nelson

if this would happen, bet losing Parsons will be for the better.

Exactly the moves I've been wait for Morey to make. I get online hoping to hear these moves are being finalized but nada. Were signing Dorsey....I'm getting angry at Moreys star lust

Houston could be a good spot for boozer. Isn't he close with dwight (may be wrong here)?

Also, homecoming to the cavs?

Does he have anything left to give? He had no heart last season with the Bulls.

Thank God.....someone else saw that the guy played like the f-ing TinMan out there. Having said that Houston will probably sign him for 1.5 million and have him play alongside Howard. For 1.5 it's worth the risk that the guy will play hard for a contract.

You are correct, that's why he will land there. The Rockets opened up some cap space so surely they have 1.5 million to spend.

Nah.....he got paid fat for five years now 16.8 to leave and go to another possible contender. That's the good life.

Houston makes the most logical sense, they want to load up on one-year deals and head back into free agency next year, and at the price we're expecting Boozer should be a nice value.

Actually out of him and A'Mare I was happy they signed Boozer and for almost 25 million cheaper. He just came up Mini-Me small in the post season and played as what was already said with no heart this season especially. When one of your best players is riding the pine during crunch time of an NBA game because his defense is non-existent and can't score if his life depended on it, 16.8 million dollars or not, it's time for him to go. Whoever signs him now gets a player who is getting paid large and will be hungry to earn another contract. Won't be as lucrative but he will still have a job in the NBA making millions. I tried to like Boozer but you can only be disappointed so many times when a guy plays at half speed.

I feel bad for whoever signs him. If you're only expecting decent scoring and rebounding, he's a good fit. Otherwise, forget about him.

He's got Houston written all over him. They have to bring in someone after this summer's disappointment. Ariza is a good player but they didn't really make the splash they wanted. Not saying Boozer is a splash by any means but it's a guy who can give you around 15-17 points if you are just in need of scoring and nothing else.

Off the bench that would be perfect for Houston.

Why....he's playing for another contract to stay in the league. He'll play with a hair across his *** now.

Although he's regressed, I think a lot of teams can still use him. He is still an above-average mid-range shooter for a PF, good rebounder and great passer.
Cavs, OKC, Rockets could all benefit

It must be such a horrible and awkward conversation to have as a GM to owner when you decide you need to use your teams amnesty. I would hate to have to tell my boss that I made a huge mistake that would force him to spend 10x+ my yearly salary that he will have to pay out of pocket.

When you're giving him 16.8 million the awkwardness Boozer might have had goes out the window. I am sure Boozer wasn't totally devastated. If he goes to Atlanta, Houston or the Lakers he will be in a good spot for him to get some minutes.

Just so I am understanding this right Boozer collects 16.8 from the Bulls via the amnesty clause and then can collect 1.448 million minimum from any team that at least is 1.5 under the cap? So he stands to walk away with 18.248 million for probably being nothing more than a bench player............LIFE IS GOOD if you're name is Carlos Boozer.

That would be a pretty decent line up on paper... I'm curious to see how Big Al and Booze would play together. If they both had long mid range games and could pass like Gasol or Gasol, or even if one of them could pass that well, they'd be killer.... but I think they both play a little too close to the basket to be effective together.

Intriguing though.

Going to Cleveland would be great. They could trade Tristan in the Love deal and still have a great back-up.

Lakers make sense, NY could work. The 76ers?

I expect him to hold out for some real money though. There are teams that would pay him between 5-8 million I think.

I guess the Rockets wouldn't be the Rockets if they didn't. They luckily rid themselves of Lin and Asik and then will probably over pay by 1-1.5 million for Boozer and add another guy who is allergic to defense. There have to be GM's out there who are hesitant to add a guy that a team would just amnesty that much so they can just rid themselves of his presence on their team. Forman did a nice PC goodbye to Boozer but there is more to that then they are letting on. If he was everything Forman said he was to the team and organization as a whole then why the hell are they paying him to go away?
