Beating traffic is better than watching a potential comeback.

The Heat don't give up comebacks, they make comebacks. Who do you take them for? The 2013 Spurs?

Because watching your team lose sucks

I've never been one to get on fans for leaving. There's no feeling in the world worse than sitting in the stands watching your favorite team lose a huge game...especially after dropping all the money that entails. Not saying it's what I do or that it's "right" or "wrong"...I just don't get why people care so much. It doesn't matter. Those guys aren't any less of a fan. You don't get magical fandom points for sitting there longer than others. They can do whatever the hell they want.

Did you think the Heat, up by 7 with 45 seconds to go, were going to choke like the Spurs did in game 6 of last yr's finals?

I turned it off with like 50 seconds left, did the pacers win or something?

Yeah, I'd never leave unless it was a 30 point blowout.

I've actually been to 2 games where there was a crazy comeback and I tried to tell my friends and they laughed.

No they still lost. So not sure what the point of this thread is about.

The Pacers did not win, but with well over a minute left they did cut it to a 2 possession game then Ray Allen got a call blown on him as well.

The point of the thread is that you shouldn't leave when it is a 3 possession game with 4+ possessions left in the game.

Not sure how you missed that.

well, them leaving early allows better traffic flow for those leaving later =) imagine if 19000 people tried to leave at the same time! those leaving early are very thoughtful people!

Yeah and I belive Indiana was down 4 with 12 seconds left and someone on Indiana held Ray Allen on the inbound causing them to turn it over.

They had a serious shot still.

LoL @ people who leave early.

I haven't either. I just don't get why people care so much. If a fan wants to leave, he can leave  Why does it matter? There's no set criteria for being a "good fan". If you are so pissed off that you can't take it any more, leave. Whatever.

I turn games off all the time when they're all but over. I don't think leaving a game is actually any different. If anything, you just wasted money on it and should be more frustrated.

I just find it funny that year after year things like this happen and people still leave early and then potentially want to rush back in and feel like idiots for leaving like that.
