Never thought I'd say this but this is a must win for Miami. If they go down 2-0, while not impossible, it's unlikely they will grab then next two at home since winning game 2 would mean Indy is hot.

I will be shocked if the Heat don't win this series in 6 or under. I just don't believe in the Pacers.. at all. They shot lights out in Game 1 and that is a complete apparition. I understand everyone loves seeing the Heat lose, but its not going to happen.

Heat have never gone down 0-2 in the big 3 era, so this is not new territory for them. I Expect to see their defense to ramp up and tie this thing up. I wouldn't even call this a must win tho because the heat have so much playoff experience that they can go back home and take two

True, but the big 3 hasn't been playing this yr like the big 3 of 3 seasons past.

I do know one thing. LeBron James has gone down 2-0 by himself several times, as has Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. Collectively, yes, they haven't. But, the big 3 haven't played as a collective unit either.

Even though Indiana is a bipolar frustrating POS team, I would not be surprised if they go up 2-0 tonight!

The Pacers have not won 2 straight games at home I assume since back in early April or late March. They are bound to win 2 straight.

Lights out? They shot like 0.2% better than Miami. Tired of Miami people making excuses. The real reason is because Indy rebounds and defends better than Miami. And they are certainly able to do that 4 times in this series.

Based on trend, the bad pacers show up tonight.

With the Pacers, there is no trend, that's the frustrating part. They're playing .500 basketball in the postseason at home (4-4), but .833 basketball in the postseason the road (5-1). They lose the opening game 1 of the Wiz series at home, just to go on and win 3 straight (including both games in Washington).

They couldn't close it out against the Wiz at home in game 5 and end up losing by 30, but they have no issues whatsoever closing it out on the road against the Wiz where the Wiz were pretty damn good in the regular season.

Nothing makes sense with these Pacers. But yet, when it comes to the ECF against the defending champs, it'll seem like at the end, everything will make sense.

I am excited/nervous for the game tonight. There is little doubt that Lebron is going to go to the rim as often as humanly possible. The biggest question is how the rule of verticality is enforced tonight. If Hibbert gets in early foul trouble early the Pacers lose. If they allow him to go straight up even if there is contact the Pacers win. Miami will most likely come out and try and make a statement at the beginning of the game the Pacers just need to keep it close and withstand it. Should be a great match-up either way with whomever wins doing so by fewer than 10 points. Oh and the joy that is Joey Crawford is going to be there tonight.

Who the starter is means nothing. It is the amount of minutes they play and when they are out there. That is why I never cared if/when Hibbert started each game when he struggled because he got the quick hook when he wasn't playing well.

A lot on Stephenson, sometimes on Hibbert or George or West in game 1. He got blown 3 times in the first 5 minutes, once by Lance and there wasn't a screen in sight. His defense in game 1 was as bad as I've seen from him since 2008 and... 2014. And much of that was in the post, where the quickness is much less of an issue. We'll see how he steps up.

Figures once bosh goes out Miami does better.

It's the small lineup that is better. Bosh could be in and it would be going the same. The reason it wasn't working at the start of game 1 is because shooters were left wide open shot after shot and they caught fire from 3.

West and Hibbert are bad match ups for him, for sure. He can get away with guarding some bigs, but those guys are just too strong and tall. He's never had success against either. Thing is, both dominate Bosh too. It's just a tough match up for the Heat, and a big reason why I haven't wavered with my pick of Indy over Miami.

The last time he did it cost us the Finals when the Big 3 came together. Wade balled out that series against Dallas and where the hell was LeBron. That still bothers me.
