The pace of this game so far is almost as slow as that one Wizards / Pacers game.

Reggie needs to pay attention to the game. It's not an adjustment that Aldridge is on Duncan.. It's that Diaw is in and Robinson is too small to guard Duncan, but not Diaw.

Patty & Marco are going to have to get some life into this building it seems. They need to provide the same offense they have been all year.

No idea. He was on the court, Portland called a timeout, and from the break he wasn't on the court anymore.

I don't like to speculate but you would think so and hamstrings are tricky injuries.

For Spurs planning. If Spurs lose. Game 6 is Friday night at 8:30cst on ESPN. If they win, Game 1 Monday at the earliest or Wednesday.

Definitely need to end this tonight. Patty Mills will play a big part tonight I think. He has had big games against Portland, he's got a great opportunity tonight .

He sure has, he likes to see the Blazers I don't know if it is because he use to play for them or what.

Kawhi is lethal playing the passing lanes. And he's getting really good being a 1 man fast break.

I've seen a few basketball guys say Leonard has that Scottie Pippen mold. Interestingly enough, Pop had Pippen work with Leonard on a recent trip to Chicago. I definitely see it when I see him running the break.

Yup. Leonard was a beast on both ends tonight. Since he came aboard, they've been to the WCF, 3 straight seasons. Hopefully it ends better than last season did.

The team really kicked it up a notch when TP went out. Now lets hope OKC/Clips go 7 so Tony gets a week off.

I think Portland has all the pieces now moving forward (Lillard, Aldridge, Batum).
It will be interesting to see what they do. Hopefully they are more formidable next season.

...I also think it's funny how many off-ball fouls aren't called at the end of a series while they shake hands.

I really hope The Clippers win tomorrow because just as Timmy said it they need their rest and need TP back at full health.

Portland just needs some consistent bench pieces. Barton showed glimpses so that's always good to build what you have. Another reliable big too would be ideal too imo.

Honestly, not a surprising result. Game 4 was pretty much a fluke in that SAS missed a TON of wide open shots.

Just looking at UFGA (Uncontested FGA's without a defender within 4 feet) from SportsVu game tracking...

Game 1 - 36 UFGA - 52.8% http://stats.nba.com/gameDetail.html?GameID=0041300221&tabView=playertracking
Game 2 - 39 UFGA - 51.3% http://stats.nba.com/gameDetail.html?GameID=0041300222&tabView=playertracking
Game 3 - 41 UFGA - 43.9% http://stats.nba.com/gameDetail.html?GameID=0041300223&tabView=playertracking
Game 4 - 47 UFGA - 34.0% http://stats.nba.com/gameDetail.html?GameID=0041300224&tabView=playertracking.
Game 5 - 44 UFGA - 47.7% http://stats.nba.com/gameDetail.html?GameID=0041300225&tabView=playertracking

In other words, in game 4 they actually had more WIDE OPEN shots as they did in games 1-3 and game 5. The difference is that they were just missing them.

If they shot similarly in Game 4 on just their open shots as they did in the other 4 games, it would have been close to a tie or a win for SAS in spite of Portland shooting lights out in Game 4.

Good job by Portland in terms of exceeding expectations. They're just a young team with a long way to go.

The real question now is how tired and beat up are OKC and the Clippers going to be when they go to San Antonio?

IFFFF the spurs can get by the winner of OKC/Clipps, I expect them to take care of miami this year. People will think its crazy or utterly biased, but I see SA winning in 5 against Miami if they are to make it that far, and if tony parker is healthy.
