Blazers got taken behind the woodshed game 1. They need to come out strong and send the message that if they get punched in the mouth, they are going to punch back.

Spurs going up 2-0

I wouldn't be surprised if this game is closer. Maybe Portland even has a great shooting night and sneaks out a win.

On the other hand, I also wouldn't be surprised if the Spurs beat them down like red-headed step children...

lol, please

I think Spurs win a close one. If Portland still doesn't play defense, they're not winning.

Parker needs to start hitting these mid range shots.

Decent 1st quarter. Kawhi looks great. Anytime he has someone other than Batum on him, I hope to see him post them up. He's pretty efficient playing with his back to the basket

does Lillard ever miss buzzer beaters?

Kawhi looks very comfortable out there. Love it

These guys are so focused right now. It was just a 3 point game it feels like.

I really hope so. But long way to go to even think about that.

Regular season match-ups tend to get overblown by some, but I admit I thought Portland was a really bad matchup for us considering how they have played us the last few years. Playoffs are very different though. I still worry about Portland getting really hot, but some of the stuff Pop is doing now, he obviously didn't do in the reg season. Can't show all your cards

Hell pop could have not coached the first half and y'all still win hard to beat a team that shoots 58% from the field and 70% from 3 in the first half

This series is over... 5 games if they are lucky.

The Spurs know how to take certain players out games.

Last year they were able to neutralize Klay Thompson by putting Leonard on him. Then they were able to neutralize Zach Randolph and Gasol.

In this series Aldridge has been totally shutdown, and it's not because he's had two off nights, they forced him to have those off nights. They are playing terrific defense ever since game 7 of the Mavs series.

i said before this is going to serve as a good learning experience for the Blazers but they are not ready for this and its showing. would like to see them get at least 1 game though.

lol... I wouldn't go that far! I think he just knows how to exploit other teams weaknesses which is resulting in a lot of open shots.
