I want Nets to win, but think Miami takes it tonight.

They saw how OKC and Indiana fell flat on their faces at home. They won't allow that to happen.

Should be a fun series..

Nets barely got past the Raptors, so lets see how they fare against a strong Heat team.

Brooklyn had Miami's number this year... and Chicago used to have Miami's number during the regular season too.

The Heat during the regular season are not the real Miami Heat. The playoff version is the real version and they aren't losing to Brooklyn in the 2nd round.

Brooklyn is a veteran team and they are dangerous so they will compete and could even win 2 or 3 games, but Miami just isn't losing here. I don't see it happening.

2 old geezers against a prime lebron/wade. Boring

Wade is an old geezer btw. It wont be a boring series, the Boston Miami series have always been entertaining, the hate those teams have for eachother is exactly what the NBA needs. The NBA needs Lebron to have a dark side and go into "You know what, **** you" mode and take no prisoners.

Wade is only a 32/33 yr old geezer. Miami will give the nets 2 or 3 freebees in this series to make it look like a tough series just like indiana last yr

Old tired legs for the Nets after a grueling 7 game series. The Heat should sweep these guys tbh.

I want the Nets to win, but I'll just be disappointed like 2012 Boston and 2013 Indiana, who took the Heat to the brink but couldn't close the deal.

Lol Shaq got abused way more than LeBron does now. Back in the early 2000s, guys would whack Shaq, but just because he's be able to convert on the basket despite all the huge blows, they'd never give Shaq the flagrants. Atleast LeBron gets the flagrant calls when the whacks are obvious.

very predictable game 1.

this is why you don't go 7 vs Toronto.

Kidd has a lot of adjustments to make, if that Nets team is going to try and hang w/ Miami.

Adjustment #1 Plumlee needs to play over Blatche in this series.

Adjustment #2 quick hook w/ KG in this series.

Adjustment #3 Livingston needs to run the offense, not Casper, and that's just to hang w/ them.

I still say it goes 6 or 7, Heat. This is gonna be a dog fight series. Tonight all I saw was a Brooklyn team w/ 1 night of rest after 7-9 days of the most mentally and physically draining series they have ever played. While Miami had 7-9 days of rest, massages, just relaxation waiting for whoever.

Our bigs were running on fumes. I'll give them a pass considering the TOR series and the quick turnaround but we gotta play better down low. Blatche and KG should have a big advantage down there. They missed a bunch of easy shots and did not protect the basket.

I think they go up 2-0, go to Brooklyn lose 2 straight. Come into Miami over confident, lose a close one. Then comes back to Brooklyn wins that one, closes them out gm.7

Brooklyn's advantage is the 1/2 court game. There's just too much experience on their side to not push that series to 6 or 7 gms. that's w/ or w/o Casper being a bum.

It's funny how people thought just because the nets were 4-0 against the heat that they actually had a chance, they do not have any chance man. If it was a tight game down to a couple possesions I'd says the nets have a chance to win this, but they do not have any chance and got blown out. Heat in 5, the raptors wouldve been more problematic for the heat even though they're 0-4 against them with JV causing matchup problems downlow

Exactly what the Nets would want you guys to think. Not that this was on purpose, but the Nets just let it go. Heat were either going to be flat or psyched and primed. If flat, the weary bunch would have fought. You were primed, and the Nets weren't going to win even if they kept it close.

I call a sweep. 4-1 at the most.

1) Nets beat Heat 4-0 in the regular season. Congrats. NYK, Bulls, and even Pacers got the best of them in the past regular seasons.

2) Heat don't care about regular season. They stated that before the season began and it was all about getting healthy because if everyone is healthy, they are going to win.

3) Old. Old. Old. Brooklyn barely beat Toronto and that's saying a lot considering Toronto is an UP-AND-COMING team. Miami is a veteran team with the best player in the game. They know what it takes and quite frankly, Brooklyn looked slow, tired, and they have no answer for LeBron.

FraziersKnicks

I see this going 5 games. Miami takes the next one at home again, and Brooklyn sneak one of two at home and then Miami close it out back at South Beach.

The Nets got blown out with LeBron having a quiet night. That is the scariest thing for the Nets. He ain't gonna average 22/5/3 for this series, he's only gonna get more dominant. When LeBron comes with his playoff intensity and focus there isn't one player on this Nets team that can slow him down. If a team with Lowry and DeRozan pushed this Nets team to the brink of elimination how the hell are they gonna be able to deal with LeBron?!

At this stage it's obvious that KG isn't bringing anything to this team anymore. The guy has so many minutes on his legs it's just not happening. His once reliable mid range jump shot isn't even there. Pierce can have those throwback nights, but I don't see any of that happening with a focused LeBron defending him.

The fact that it was the Heat bench that contributed the most to this win should scare the Nets because bench depth was the one thing they thought they had going for them. If the Nets had a 7-8 day rest before this series it would be a bit closer because out of all the teams in the league they need the rest more than anyone. But because they literally have no chance to get a rest between now and the end of this series, it's gonna be a short one.

Heat in 5.
