I think we need to give ATL some credit. I want to say all Indy f'n up. But Budinhozer ex. Spurs coach has them playing like a 99' Knicks team. w/ no post defender. Just lane defense.

though you might be right

Wizards backcourt> Indiana backcourt
Wizards frontcourt > Indiana frontcourt

Pacers have the better coach and more experience (than the Wizards backcourt only)

their front court of Gortat and Nene are highly underrrated. I'll take my chances with the Wizards in a front court battle.

Ariza might shut down PG as well. Wizards matchup nicely the Pacers all in all.

It looks like another matchup issue with Pacers if Hibbert can't do anything again.

This is a series that the Pacers would match up better.

Nene, Gortat, Ariza

Hibbert, West, George

The Pacers frontcourt is better. Even though i agree that Gortat is underrated, nene has been oft injured and this is a series that would play into the pacers strengths; Half court offense, low post defense and rebounding.

The Wizards backcourt is better, but younger. Stephenson is really talented, but so are Wall and Beal. George Hill is inconsistent and out of position. The pacers tried to turn him into a PG and it never really worked.

If we get past the Hawks on Saturday and Toronto beats out the Nets, this will be a very interesting series.

I would agree the PAcers front court is better but that really is determined if Hibbert is actually doing anything productive on the court. if he isn't - Wizards front court easily. Ariza might put the clamps on PG as well.

Plus, Nene isn't injured anymore - so that's a irrelevant point made into your assumption i.e. the assumption Wizards might not be better in the front court because Nene has not played for most of the regular season. BUT rested Nene + not injured = Nene making Noah his *****.

but yes - East playoffs are entertaining so far. new teams making their playoff runs. Its good for the East.

Its not irrelevant, hes not underrated, he was oft injured. Its hard to determine how to rate a guy if hes not on the court.
