Serious question really I mean can this be a possibility

imo yes, if durant and westbrook can really figure it out there is no way Lebron is winning more unless he gets a new sidekick. Wade is old and Bosh hasn't really been a superstar in Miami, though he has been underrated there. so ya, if Durant wins his first chip at 25, which neither Michael or Lebron were able to do, he has another MVP candidate as his sidekick, a DPOY candidate and a great coach and GM. OKC is in terrific position.

i think the window is close to slamming shut in miami. those complimentary pieces just aren't gonna cut it. i can't see a scenario there where he has more help than KD will going forward. but i have a hard time answer such absolute and long-term questions without knowing what's even going to happen with lebron even as soon as next year, but i think if he stays in miami it could be the end of them.

i also have read that Lebron, Wade and Bosh all feel they deserve max money. they will have to take a similar pay cut if they want to keep together.

So according to all of you Kd will be higher then Lebron on the all time list?

JEDean89
04-19-2014, 03:52 PM
no, unless he goes into a whole new level dropping 35 8 and 8, he won't be better than lebron. Lebron probably will win more chips, and if he wins the chip this year, it will be kind of ridiculous.

No, but it'll be tougher. Maybe LeBron, Wade, and Bosh all take a sizable pay cut to get another 10 million per year type of guy.

You hate LeBron, don't you?

If KD and Bron meet in the finals again, Bron's team is gonna win again. Same result, different yr.

Get over yourself kiddo.

I totally believe this rumor. They already took pay cuts, and this next contract probably will be each of their last huge one (besides maybe lebron). They made the sacrifice to win, granted it wasn't a HUGE one. But I think cashing out big one more time probably is VERY appealing.

I don't think that is very fair to say.

I would love to see a Thunder / Heat Finals though!

If KD wins a title over the HEAT this year... That would have meant, that it was a scripted outcome; so of course the HEAT would win more titles in the future, because those would be scripted outcomes too.

Lbj vs KD... Ratings

Yes because if Durant wins, clearly Lebron is retiring.

jerellh528
04-19-2014, 07:40 PM
It really depends on which team he goes to. After this season I don't know if the heat will be able to stay contenders with their big 3 hitting free agency and wade's health. Lebron is still in his prime and you can never count him out. The only difference is durant is on the up and Lebron might slowly start his down. But impact wise they are close enough to where that's a moot point, the team is what's going to impact everything because I think at this point kd and Lebron are almost interchangeable as players. This postseason and next season should tell a lot.

Na but also depends who his teammates are obviously.. U put kd with Westbrook n ibaka against lebron n some decent players .. You give it to kd everytime

Lebron would go elsewhere to another stacked team that has a player who won a title as the man.

BRON is hard to gauge right now until after this season since he is going for 3 titles but could possibly not win and be stuck on 2 like a modern day WILT, who went to like 7 total finals and BRON is sitting on 4 right now going for a 5th appearance

but if BRON wins or concedes to KD or another team/star player then he can still compete for more by staying or going to a ROCKETS/CLIPPS/NYC situation where he could play with better(more youthful) talented players and still compete for ships next 3-5yrs on top of what he has accomplished

so if KD does win it then it will be short lived based on the DECISION 2.0 coming to a tv theatre soon, ESPN that is

If that's the case, there's a guy in LA that wears #24 waiting for him.

yes. If KD wins a title, the door is shut on a 29 year old 4 time MVP.

Makes sense.

Yeah. Might as well stop playing regular season games and the playoffs. Just keep giving Championships to KD.

But they need to play preseason. Those games are damn important.

Maybe he would be done winning with Wade in Miami, but dude is only 29, and is probably going to age well, and will probably go wherever he can win.

Jordan only had 2 rings at this point.

JasonJohnHorn

I don't see LBJ staying in Miami if they don't win it this year. Unless they drop Bosh and can bring in a legit PF or All-Star C.

Compare the two at 29 years old for a moment.

That if Lebron doesn't win a ring this season, that it doesn't mean he won't win another ever again, considering how extremely young he still is.

Yes. This woulda been a better route to take instead of comparing him to Jordan. I agree with you about him being capable enough to get more rings in the future though. But there's a more than a few reasons why Jordan is Jordan.

Jordan had two rings at this age in his career (about to get his third)

I wasn't trying to compare the two, but the two do make a decent comp at this age.

More than anything I was saying that Jordan still got 3 more rings after his age 29 season.

Lebron could too.

Jordan is 1-10 in the playoffs without Pippen. Stop acting as if he was winning everything. JordanBulls is clearly intimidated by LeBron having the potential of surpassing MJ so he will derail him every chance he gets.
