View Full Version : Who is this Dellavedova kid?

I looked at his season-long stats, and nothing to write home about, but when Uncle Drew went down, his minutes went up, and I've noticed that he really racks up the assists without turning the ball over to much, which is pretty impressive for a guy who is listed as a shooting guard on BBR.

I haven't gotten to watch him play yet though. I noticed he was undrafted and he actually seems to be playing better than their 1st overall pick!

Anybody watch this Aussie play? Know much about him?

Kid is a hustler. He plays at 120% every minute he's on the floor and rarely makes mistakes handling the ball. He's been our most consistant bench player this season.

Played for st Mary's and was a terrific college player. Always knew he could shoot, but didn't know he'd translate this well

Played well in college and not great in the Olympics which unastandible. Won't be a star, but can be a solid role guy off the bench for a pretty cheap price.

Played 4 years at st Mary's, did a lot of everything for them, took them to the ncaa tournament but lost first round (as you'd expect). Just works hard all day, smart player who will hopefully be around for a long time, would love to see him pair up with mills and bogut at some point

Might only have to wait two years if bogut can stay healthy. I'm excited by the core Australia is building; bogut, exum, mills, dellavedova, baynes and ingles. Now only if they can somehow convince Irving to play for Australia.
