C. Kind of like it, but don't care that much
D. Awesome
E. I pay it no thought at all, and don't even notice.

Kind of like it, but don't care that much, hopefully they don't start wearing out the idea.

Needs to be used in All-Star game, not regular season game

Bosh's nickname is CB and it just looks dumb on the back of his jersey.

E

Unless it's pointed out to me, I don't notice. I don't want them to put advertisements on the front though. As for the names on the back, I think it would be better if they used the names their mothers called them. Sugar Britches for 3, rebound by Pookie Bear, then I'd care.

A... It looks like something that you would wear on the playground..

I personally hate it.

I don't have a logical reason specifically why.

I just hate it for some reason. I think it's tacky and stupid. I feel like it's something a teenager would do if they were running the NBA.

****ing ******** is the only way I can describe them

Who cares? It doesn't detract from the game at all. They could put "diarrhea" on their backs and I still wouldn't give a ****.

Dumb as hell. Only reason it was allowed is for jersey revenue.

Sure

Just seemed like you saw the thread title and responded without realizing there was a poll that provided you your option.

B. of course

My jersey probably can be regarded as a nickname jersey because Chris is not my surname.

It's obviously the NBA's lame attempt to sell more jerseys, just like the sleeved Soccer look.

Pretty much this. I can't believe people actually even notice during a game. The answer is obviously B

This is a huge "who F'in cares" type of thing. Do people actually fuss over this?

Instead of this, they should just make both teams wear the same colors, and remove all naming from the back of the jerseys. Now that would be fun.

It was a cool idea for players like lebron and ray allen who wouldnt want a j.shuttlesworth jersey or a king james but then u have guys with no creativity who kill it like joe johnson with jj or greg oden with G.O terrible

Poll to this point is 23 don't like it/don't care but aren't really fans of it, 2 kind of like it, and 3 don't care

I hate it.....nicknames need to be earned like "king James" etc. so having entire teams come up with there own nicknames seems incredibly stupid to me ..... CB4....CP3.......dumbest ones of all.

To me , the NFL and NBA....as big as they are....seem like "try hards" . Try so hard to be the center of attention that I find the players come of as being so fake.....esp the NFL. These nickname jerseys add to my try hard thoughts

He's been called King James nationally since ESPN Magazine put him on the cover as a high schooler. He hadn't earned anything at that point.

Ray Allen with J. Shuttlesworth on his jersey and Paul Pierce with Truth is cool. *shrug*

I think I'd take nicknames over jerseys with ads.

Doesn't really affect me, but I'd vote B

Not enough good nicknames out there.

NoahH
04-09-2014, 04:33 PM
B. Especially since alot of the players arent even known by the 'nicknames' on their jerseys

Chris Bosh = CB? Cmon no his nickname is Boshasaurus
Dwyane Wade = D-Wade? Flash is better
Battier = Battle? SMH...

Joe Johnson = JJ? More like 'Big Shot Joe' or something

Kinda stupid, but I don't care. Doesn't really have any significance that really matters.

SOme of the stars, well...I think it's actually cool. I'd by a King James or a Truth jersey in a heartbeat (if I weren't poor). Whole teams? Nah. Players with dumb nicknames? Nah. Scrubs? Nah. But still, it's just some letters on the back of a jersey so: whatever. No reason for outrage.

I just don't see the reason for them.
