So excited for Fenway Opening Day. Not so excited that it is vs Milwaukee Brewers, but it will be a great to see the team regardless of whom they play.

I am not sure if you mean on offense or defense, but on defense he knocked down the ball but couldn't make the throw in time. On offense he just lined out to Overbay.

It was like the play the other day, except towards 1b. Had it in his glove but it rolled out when he hit the ground and did half a somersault

Tough game. Seemed like a lot of balls were hit well, but caught. I recall a Bogaerts gapper that hung up a bit, a shot from Middlebrooks that was right at the CF, and the Overbay catches on Pedroia and Pierzynski.

Sox have played pretty well through the first 4. Should be better than 2-2, but that's how baseball is sometimes.

You can challenge anytime after the 7th. If you lose your challenge in the first 6 you must wait till the 7th.

Even though we lost, it didn't matter to me. Seeing everything live was something I'll never forget. Got hammered, ate a ton, and cried watching that ceremony. It was chilly but well worth it.

Plus I got hit on by an older lady so that was awesome.

His velocity was way down. He was sitting at 88-89, rather than his normal 91-93.

It's definitely concerning.

I know it is early, but I have a real bad feeling about this AJP situation. I would be very surprised if he is still our "starter" when the all-star break rolls around. Totally agree with not paying Salty, but I just don't see what he brings to the table other than mediocrity at the C position which is actually hard to come by unfortunately. Also, was he always this fat?

Great opening ceremonies but they've looked like the Mets all 3 games. And that's continued into this probable loss.

I'm not concerned.... yet. The Sox most of the time have a weak April. Have a strong May, June, and most of July, struggle in late July and August, and then finish strong in September.
