Steve Clifford hats off to what you have done w/ that team. Eastern Conference don't sleep on them. I love watching that town get behind that team. They are a problem.

Thanks for the props but we really need the 6th seed in a bad way but there is still time to get there.

No problem man. You guys are earning it this season.

If Charlotte gets 5th or 6th they could upset someone. I don't like their chances against Miami or Indiana.

Have you been asleep while Al Jefferson has been lighting it up?

Al Jefferson is not a star ... He is a very good player, but not a star.

People throw the term "star" around like its nothing now days. There are only a handful of teams in the league with true "stars". If you don't have one of these said players on your team, your chances of winning a championship is slim to none. (Exception the Spurs)

 I think that way when it comes to superstars.

Jefferson's averaging 21-10 on 50% shooting...seems like a star player to me, but I guess we have different opinions lol

I peg him somewhere between the 16-20 best player in the NBA. Is he going to strike fear in the opposing teams players ? No, but you might have to alter your game plan a bit to keep him in check. And right now, there are only two superstars in the NBA...

Of course this is all personal opinion, but people seem to forget the days when there were 5-6 superstars playing in the league at the same time ...

so a player who is top 10 in PPT w/ players above 28 mpg, that's not a star?

Big Al has been going to work this season, but idk about getting out of the 1st round.

Big Al is a allstar. What are you guys smoking. He is probably up there with Lopez as the better offensive centers

Jeffersons terrible defense lowers him down a little bit.

Their perimeter shooting isn't good enough to get by the elite defensive teams. Pacers/Heat/Bulls will shut them down. Nice team regardless. They need an elite outside shooter to go in their rotation though.

Not a big feat but I watched these Bobcats man-handle my Pistons in back to back games. Hard nosed coach who is doing a fantastic job. About to revamp the franchise. They are in a great position right now.

Great to see the team finally doing good, looks like they make the playoffs this year. That said they're out in the 1st round IMO.

Look,

He is 27th in FG% , 10th in RPG, 13th in PPG, 27th in BPG, and is a poor defender at best ...

Not to mention, he is 188th in TSP (take that for what it's worth, but still)

If he was playing on a team that didn't force feed him the ball , he would be around a 18-10 player. Again, very good, but not a "star".

The talent in the NBA is so underwhelming that people are taking good solid NBA players and overrating them into stardom.

I don't want to detract from what the Bobcats are doing, it is nice for the franchise. But do you honestly think they will contend for a championship in the next five years barring some sort of miracle ?

I cannot take the Bobcats seriously until they become the Hornets.

When you type CHARLOTTE BOBCATS into the thesaurus the #1 synonym is "LOSING"

For Charlotte fans and players I cant wait for them to get the Hornets name back to shed the label as the laughing-stock of the league
