So I was reading the brook robin Lopez thread and people started talking about combining players like brook and robin and the gasols , so it got me thinking...

Who would you put together to create the best player possible, only catch. They have to play the same position and NO ALLSTARS! Anyone else is fair game.

Currently an all star? Or ever been an all star?

Man...it would be a monster.And Drummond's attitude is also better than Cousins's,so that's good.

Even with the all star rule I had to post this, after really thinking about it the other night

Andrew Bynum/Roy Hibbert.

Do you know how dominant they would be as 1 combined healthy center?

KOB that was the first thing that came to my mind too

since you took mine though I'll go with

Kobe Bryant and Dwayne Wade.....maybe if you combine them they'd have a healthy set of knees

I'll go
Ilbaka and Al Jefferson though

Josh Smith and Ryan Anderson, since Smith seems dead set on shooting from places where he can't shoot.

If Josh Smith could actually shoot he would be sick. He would be like a poor mans LeBron.

yeah, ewwwwwwwww haha. At least Rondo can make a layup, Rubio a FT. So they might not be so horrific efficiency wise. But not an ideal pairing.

Which is why I said Rubio and Dragic. Give Rubio the finishing/shooting ability of Dragic, and he would be pretty bad ***.

I don't get why people are combining players with such similar skill sets.

For me one of the most intriguing one is Ricky Rubio + Anyone who can score or shoot at even a mediocre rate.

Al Jeff + DeAndre Jordan. Isaiah Thomas + George Hill. Or Jimmy Butler + Chandler Parsons...

I have a couple more,

Demarcus Cousins and Andrew Bogut. Consistently high caliber defense, unbelievable rebounding ability and a promising offensive skill set.

Monta Ellis and Tony Allen. Monta with Allens defensive ability... very nice two way player.

Al Jeff + DeAndre Jordan.

I was going to say this.

03-18-2014, 01:56 AM
PG - Ty Lawson and Eric Bledsoe
SG - Goran Dragic and Lance Stephenson
SF - Kawhi Leonard and Rudy Gay
PF - Serge Ibaka and Danilo Gallinari
C - DeMarcus Cousins and Andre Drummond

I especially like Leonard and Gay. Match Leonard's IQ, team-first focus, shooting and defense with Gay's innate athleticism and scoring.
