I'm well aware this is not NBA related and it PROBABLY will get closed, but i needed some new fresh ideas. Basically i'm in a Men's League and my team (of 7 players) needs some fast paced 3on3 to play at the end of practices. The men's league is an unreal pace. eg. 75-80 ppg for 2 20 min running time halves and i'd like to simulate this in pick up / practice.

Regular 3on3 always is played at or speed no matter how hard we play. We've been playing around with a number of ideas like only playing to 5 so you go hard for 5 points instead of 11 and also not checking the ball after a basketball and simply clearing it since checking the ball slows the game down.

Anyone have any ideas / experience on how to speed up the pace of a 3on3 game with a modification of rules?

Don't say 'just play harder' because that isn't helpful. If you have played basketball before im sure youre well aware its hard to simulate game speed in a practice or pick up.

Mods, please give me some leeway on this one? LOL

I'm in a league to. We practice one a week, we run ucla drills. Basically whoever gets scored on is out..picks up the defensive intensity

Good call, get scored on and you sit.
