Fighting was a HUGE problem in the 70's. Like hockey, there would be guys whose jobs it would be to act as an 'enforcer'. Kareem missed half a season when he broke his arm in a fight.

The Kermit Washington/Rudy-T punch encapsulated the problem and marked a shift. Fights and brawls still happened. But the league fined anybody who left the bench during a fight.

Then the league started suspending players who left the bench during the fight. THAT has really helped to eliminate fighting.

There there are some hot tempers in the league. Noah. Garnett. Rondo.

Which players do you think would be getting into the most amount of fights if the rules were more like 70's and early 80's?
