Both of these drafts were ridiculously deep especially this season with alot of guys from both drafts stepping up so which one is better.

2008 draft- Rose, Westbrook, Love, Batum, Lopez, Lopez, Hill, Hibbert, Ibaka, Hickson, Anderson, Mcgee, Deandre Jordan, Gordon, Beasley, Pekovic, Gallinari.

2009 draft- Harden, Curry, Griffin, Lawson, Derozan, Holiday, Tyreke Evans, Rubio, Jennings, Gibson, James Johnson, Collison, Blair, Green, Jeff Teague, Meeks, Henderson.

Both drafts have had 5 all-stars and 3 all-nba players

kind of hard question, could go either way-'08 think has greater depth, but '09 has better top line talent(with blake, curry, harden)

i'll say '08 by a hair

Healthy Rose, Westbrook and Love >>> Curry, Harden, Blake but there really isn't much of a difference between them. It's more of a matter of opinion than anything.

key word, healthy.rose basically hasnt played in 2 years so who knows, can basically just write off.so that leaves just west and love v. curry/harden/blake

Don't know about that westy and harden are pretty close, rosť may be a little better then curry but it's close and Blake is very close to love IMO id say slight edge to 08

Tough but I'd lean to 08.

08 only reason it's a debate is because.most of the top guys are injury prone.

Ask me again in 2020.

But for now I say 2008 easily.

PG: Rose/Westbrook/Dragic
SG: Mayo/Gordon
SF: Batum/Beasley/Ryan Anderson/Gallinari
PF: Love/Hickson/Ibaka
C: Hibbert/JaVale/Jordan/Pekovic/Lopez/Asik

vs.

PG: Curry/Rubio/Jennings/Jrue Holiday/Teague
SG: Harden/DeRozdn
SF: Evans/
PF: Griffin/Gibson
C:

If the question is whose better: Curry/Griffin/Harden or Love/Westbrook/Rose, then it is a little more interesting, but I mean, there wasn't a singe starting center in 2009 and there are 5 in 2008. And there are 3 or 4 starting power forwards compared to 2 in 2008. The 2009 PG pool may be deeper, but and the SG pool goes to 2009, but the SF, PF and C all go to 2008 by a landslide and the PG is close (if Rose was injured and playing at his MVP level, it would go to 2008). Curry, Teague and Holiday are good, but... better than Rose Westbrook ad Dragic? I might take Curry ahead of Westy and Rose right now, but Westy and Rose are ahead of Teague and Holiday, and Dragic might be as well.

exactly. If Rose/Westbrook never get hurt, this isn't even really that debateable.

However, reality is, it is now a debate. Though as JJ mentions above, the center depth in 08' is soooooo much better.
