76er's working on a buyout on Granger's contract. A contender can pick this guy up for a bargain and he wants to go to a contender. Who would be his best fit? I'm thinking Clippers

And your point to the link? I know he got traded lol, he didn't play in the 76er's game last night and doesn't want to play there. I made this a separate thread for people to give their opinion on where he would fit in best if/when he gets bought out.

Clippers can offer him a starting gig. He has a home in L.A.. They would be legit contenders with him, Big Baby, and Reddick (when he comes back).

I could see him going to the cats where he gets a starting gig and plays a massive role in the side. Don't see him getting a starting gig at the clips like above poster said.

Dallas can offer him a starting gig as well. We have a small chance to make somewhat of a run and our SF's are a 35 year old Shawn Marion and Jae Crowder...

Why would any team offer Granger a starting spot? He is no where near a starter anymore, be lucky to get any production from him. He is strictly a jumpshooter now who frankly can't really shoot.

It makes sense for the pistons to get him if they can clear a roster spot, preferably CV31. We have a team full of poor shooters, so he will feel no pressure and he will fit right in, but all jokes aside he should sign with the spurs.

I think Minny or LAC would be the best fits, then SAS, though SAS didn't do much with Jefferson, so I'm not sure they'd do much with Granger.

The T-Wolves would be great with him, if he returned to his old form.

I fully expect San Antonio, Miami, LAC, Chicago and Phoenix to enquire about him if he's willing to play for a much lower wage.

I'm not sure if he's necessarily the best fit there, but Houston needs him bad and he would fit the Rockets rotation and needs like a glove. Morey has coveted the guy for a long time and unlike a lot of the other teams that may vie for his services, Houston could feasibly give the guy more than the vet minimum after this season if he wants to stick around. Also, a lot of older NBA players like finishing up their careers in Houston, because it's an awesome retirement spot thanks to no state income tax and a thriving local economy.

I don't think Houston is probably where he'll go, but I hope he gives it some consideration.

I don't think he and Kevin Love like each other.

I wonder how bad he'll get Hinkie'd on the buyout offer. He is probably pretty desperate to get away from us

I respected the fact that he didn't bow down to anyone. He has plenty of friends around the league as well.

I hope he ends up with the Spurs.

Yeah, he kinda fits great with Spurs. I envisioned him in spurs jersey as soon as I heard he was traded to 76ers.
